deactivate does nothing , my shit was set not to d/l any updates and the fucker did , only guarantee is to disable the internet
It's safe to assume that most households own a router - simply add Nintendo's update servers to the blacklist and your Nintendo platforms will *never* perform an online update again. Disc-based updates are a whole different story, but not all contain update partitions, so there'll only be a handful of games to avoid.deactivate does nothing , my shit was set not to d/l any updates and the fucker did , only guarantee is to disable the internet

I received the 5.0 update after I played Mario Kart despite auto EVERYTHING being turned off. I shut off my Wii-U when it had the OK to begin update and blocked it in my router immediately. When I powered back on, it gives me a 'failed to download update' error every once in awhile but doesn't restrict me from doing anything locally.
You're not locked out though, the 5.0.0 exploit is being worked on
NO WAY D: D: D: D:
I should have shut off the router when it was d/ling ....I didn't because I was told this update is safe ....I really hope this is true
