Wrong rom base for uwuvci?

1. For link's crossbow usa , it requires donkey kong usa as a base. However, that is not an option in uwuvci so i used rhythm heaven usa as base. Would it still work as a wii inject on wiiu?

2. What happens if i try to play a wii inject on wii u with the wrong base? Does it brick the console or do I just restart the console and everything will be fine.

It only has Rhythm Heaven as an option as that base supports every title.

I have tried to use this software over and over but the BaseGame download never finishes.

Update: I ended up using TeconmoonWiiVCInjector [4.0.0.0] and running it in Sandboxie. Then I put the nincfg.bin in the root of the SD card.
