Yeah, it'll dump your savegame too. But that is only for CARD2 games

it says GW_OMEGA_2.....zip is not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous.

Yes It's possible to play Japan roms, Classic mode is to play NEW retail carts without updating the system nand past 4.5 or to play online while maintaining the 4.5 FW

5. Fix a few stability issues.

Don't get this post wrong. I'm happy with this update. I just think there's more work could be done to make this cart perfect.

Again, that's a bug of Google Chrome.

It's a feature, not a bug.
If people would take the time to read the context they would understand that it's simply a precaution. Maybe an overly cautious one but these days the average casual PC user will click yes on anything without reading it so it's not like it helps anyway.

Those are a bit tricky but smea/Normmatt and the rest of their team have managed to load DSiWare/GBA games from redNAND AFAIK so it should be possible, expect it to take time though. I certainly hope they focus their efforts on more important features at the moment.
Being able to dump 3DSWare would serve little to no purpose apart from piracy, most of the excuses people use to justify a flashcart don't apply here.

Being able to dump game saves (and use them on the Gateway card) is rather important though, I doubt most people are willing to discard all their save games just for the convenience of having their retail games on one card.

Well, then it's a stupid measure taken by Google. As I said before, the same file downloaded from anonfiles won't have any problems with Chrome, but if you download it form http://scmods.com/ you get that warning. For me, that's a stupid thing on Google's part.

I just downloaded the Mario Kart 7 update because it prompted a warning when I lauched it through GW

that happened to me too.
The couple of times i tried to enter GW mode the screen remained black.
Then tried pressing L and choosing enter gw mode, and finally worked.
