Hacking how do you get the actual 3ds rom on the sd card?

I am trying to get bravely default on the sd card but it keeps telling me the file is too big. Well the card is an 8gb card. Its formatted to fat32 right now

any suggestions?

I think Gateway had it on their site at one point but I can't find it now. It's mentioned in their manuals though.

thank you, but now im getting the white vertical lines on after i go to gateway mode, and all the diagnostics fail.

Maybe your card is too slow. Are you getting the vertical lines when booting into gateway or trying to load the game?

trying to boot into the gateway gui, i get into gateway via the profile + L button, but when i try to get into gateway mode, no dice.

Try holding L while entering in Gateway mode and release it when the screen goes black. It works for me.

ok. what is random? getting the white lines or booting up the games?

also, have you been able to update the emunand?

Hold L and tap profile. Then when you see the Gateway logo, release L.

On the next screen, hold L again and press A to enter Gateway mode. You will see white lines and then it will go black. Once it go black, then release L.

it worked like that with the card out and stalled with it in
