Erm no, n64oid is WAY better than mupen, its faster and supports high-res texture
Mupen64plus supports high res textures (gles2rice), features a much better video plugin (gles2glide) that should even support textures via .cache files. N64oid is not at all better at this point. Mupen64plus is faster as well as more compatible, plus it actually works properly on android 4.x+ and is completely open source.

Once I get my note 3, I'll download this emu immediately. Can't wait.

Also a great reason to say goodbye to iPhone.

Has anyone tried Seeder to increase device speed?

I read on another forum that some guy was using it to help with lag and it worked well. While my device plays most DS games well, Any boost would be appreciated (especially in regards to Viewtiful Joe).

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of owning a handheld, portable console?

Not really. Where I live if you take something like that outside you're gonna get robbed lol. Although a 3DS is small a phone is smaller, I love wearing jeans that are so tight I'm practically a woman. I can just about fit a phone in my pocket.

One more question for today, anybody getting garbled conversation screens on Phantasy Star Zero. It was not this way when I first started but now, everytime I start a conversation, the top screen is garbled. Maybe it's a setting that I have on or off so hopefully somebody here might have an answer.

If multithreaded 3d is enabled, try disabling it.

It was supposedly supposed to help with Android lag issues, but it in fact did not help at all with lag itself, but more with boosting the CPU for performance, so your battery life will just suffer a little more for a little bit of performance. You could always try this, though. Works wonders with my 1st gen Nexus 7.

My device came rooted but CM is not a possibility on my tablet.. -I tried Seeder and damn did it kill my battery (WiFi on and full brightness) is a but over 45 minutes :P

Dude nothing is going to get New Super Mario Bros. Wii running any faster on your tablet man.

Ok ok ill drop it :P

LMFAO! -nothing but a better version of dolphin for Android :) I'm just glad to have this emulator. I was finally able to get my wife into Animal Crossing and Super Princess Peach. Also, if Exophase is reading, It would be nice to have a true portrait mode for this emu. As it stand, you can do a view with the two screens vertical while holding the tablet portrait but android itself is still in landscape putting the taskbar left of the dpad and that's a bit frustrating
. Having the taskbar to the top of the upper screen would be lovely. I would be able to spread out the dpad a bit more and relax my hand some. Also, the touch areas of the buttons, especially L and R should be a tad bit smaller. Sometimes L and R can get in the way of the touch screen. Finally, it would be nice to be able to resize all buttons as well as move around start and select.

Last time I tried, N64oid was way faster. I'll try again, though I never knew it add fan made highres texture

Is n64oid even updated anymore?

Not sure though aparently there is a 2.8 pre alpha

New update:

Version 2.1.1a:
- No longer requires BIOS/firmware (but will still use ones you've installed). ARM7 BIOS still needed for encrypted ROMs.
- Emulation of Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver is improved (confirmed playable start to finish)
- Some games w/save game problems should be fixed
- Removed bluetooth requirement, can now install on more devices
- Screen swapping now allowed in portrait mode
- Fixed glitches w/on-screen controller opacity set to 0
- Fixed 'Assorted' cheat folder causing a crash

Now if you notice with the prealpha video, he doesn't go into any other rooms/areas, suggesting it still has the same issue as mupen64plus where it crashes when switching areas. Just stick with mupen64plus if you want actual support.

Would be nice to have cover art.

Also when using built in cheat for to enable dpad control Zelda Phantom hour glass, it doesnt work. Then afterwards game wont load.

After enabling a broken cheat (and the game wont boot), go to /sdcard/Android/data/com.dsemu.drastic/files and delete usrcheat.dat
