I have 3 3DSs so I want to give it a try so... could you explain to me how it is done please? Thanks in advance!

Follow the procedure:
1. Switch off WiFi in all your 3DSes. Wait min. 8 hours from time when these 3DSes had a normal StreetPass between them. If had StreetPass more than 8 hrs, no need to wait.
2. Make Nintendo Zone on your router (set SSID to one of list and remove encrypting).
3. Switch on WiFi on first 3DS and catch this Nintendo Zone.
4. After some time switch off WiFi on first 3DS and switch on WiFi on second 3DS. When second 3DS will catch Nintendo Zone it should have StreetPass of first 3DS.
5. After that switch off WiFi on second 3DS and switch on WiFi on third 3DS. When third 3DS will catch Nintendo Zone it should have StreetPass of second 3DS.
6. You can repeat cycle. To catch StreetPass on first 3DS need to pass few hours.

It sucks, I also have only original games but I use flashcards to run emulators and watch DPG videos(specially to watch videos).

I think if Nintendo make an upgrade or official flash cards to play videos could be a great idea.
Doesn't the 3DS have a video player? IIRC it only plays videos of 10 minutes or shorter though.

Btw does the 3ds get a green light or its like spotpass?
and someone talked about vpn, anyway of doing that???

Green Light, like normal StreetPass.

Btw. probably there is no need to wait this 8 hours after normal StreetPass, as I have written above.
Today, I received StreetPass from my homemade relay after 4 hours from normal StreetPass (in the moment I switched on router).

Yesterday initially I had a problem with this relay and I suspected that reason was due to normal StreetPass just before, but probably it was another problem.

Sorry, but I not believe in anything what he is writing, because my experience is different.
He wrote, that he catched StreetPass on BOTH systems, what is not what I (and my friend who repeated my experiment) received.
I received StreetPass on one console only. And it is according to theory. First console is connecting to server and storing data (there is no data to retrive, because it is first connection), second console is connecting and retrieving data of first console and storing own. First console can retrieve this data, but must pass some time. It is no possible to have 2 StreetPasses with same point without waiting.

He probably catched "normal" StreetPass between 2 consoles. Maybe this Zone mixed something with time (I had sometimes StreetPasses without waiting 8hrs, normally).

Dont know, since its rare to me to have a streetpass, although i have a friend that also has a 3ds and we both live in the same town, we just dont meet too much with our 3DS

Sorry, I wrote my original post too quickly after the discovery. It is true, I did not get a streetpass on both consoles - at the same time. I probably restarted my hotspot after one console got a streetpass making the other console get it in the same way. So yes, one console sends data to Nintendo and the other picks it up.

The reason I do not have to wait between streetpasses is that every time I reset my phone hotspot it reconnects to the phone network and obtains a NEW public IP. This makes the Nintendo servers think it's a new Nintendo Zone. Using a router, you might keep the same public IP after reseting the router, but depending on ISP and such you might get a new one.

I have sniffed the traffic using a wireless card in monitor mode, and yes, the 3DS connects to (a few) Nintendo servers and exchanges data using the TLS (SSL) protocol.

It is another thing hard to belive. If you have a new IP, how server know that it is you who is connecting?
My theory is that IP is stored together with StreetPass data. And this data can be retrieved from this IP only.

I believe that when a 3DS connects to a Nintendo Zone SSID that has a public IP that is not stored in the Nintendo servers, a new streetpass database/whatever is created at the Nintendo servers and stores the 3DS streetpass. Then another 3DS connects to the same SSID (with the same public IP, and thus accesses the same streetpass database).

In my case, every time i reset my phone hotspot I get a new public IP from the phone network which in turn creates a new streetpass database at the Nintendo servers. Therefore, it is always the last 3DS system to access the hotspot that will get a streetpass (from the first 3DS).

This is of course just a theory, but a highly probable one. If you have a phone capable of creating a wireless hotspot and 3G/4G access you should try it out yourself.

DSTWO is excellent, is there anybody reviewed R4i Gold Plus made from www.r4ids.com ? Users can do firmware upgrade directly via a firmware burner, firmware update gets free from console.
An important spot is this cart has never changed its hardware since it was released into market in 2011, it supports all current nintendo hand-held console system versions.
Below has r4i gold plus updated for 3ds 6.2.0-12U.

The earliest update for that one on the site is for 4.3.x, which seems odd to start there...

grab yourself a router, change his ssid to attwifi (or other theres a complete list here http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Nintendo_Zone ) and remove all sercurity (wep or wpa)
After that turn off all 3ds and turn on at a time. Wait for it to connect to router and do is magic. Then power it of and do the same to another 3ds. If its true your 2nd 3ds has got a streetpass from the other through nzone

Thanks for the advice I will give it a try today

Has somebody tried the r4igold from r4igold.cc ?
it was working on 6.1 flawlessly.. I want to update but, as I don't have a dslite anymore, it would get kinda messy to update the card if things go south.

That seems interesting, could you tell me how you did that. That could be used if someone wants to use his router has a hotspot and allow only to access to those website.

I suggest to create a thread ONLY for NZone Spoofing and to tell our findings

it doesn't seem to work for a few people, when they turn off their 3ds the card stops working again :(
That´s weird I updated my two DSTWOs today and neither has that problem... which model you have Fish Tycoon or Alex Rider? mine are Alex Rider and they are fine with the update
