The demo for Resident Evil Revelations is now out on consoles. The Wii U version can be downloaded right now off the eShop, it weights 619 MB and can be played for 30 times.

Why are Ninty still implementing arbitrary limits on demos?
Theatre Rythm didn't have a limit in some regions, devs are free to remove it, but for some reason they don't. Sometimes they make the limit even shorter with 15 or 10 tries only.

In some ways I agree it is a dick move, in others demos have been somewhat harmful for sales (played the demo, don't need to play the real thing, "that was it"...). Now if everything was like the Dead Rising 2 case zero stuff that would be awesome, but it would also be effort.
I guess the limited tries is kind of a way to have a demo but without the potential negatives of having a demo.

Of course now I have the ambition to be brought up in front of the beak for pirating game demos.

It's so in case a glitch happens like in the just cause 2 demo where you can play it for as long as you want with the full map. Who would want to buy a game when you can play the demo for as long as you want?
