I am using the Australian eShop and cannot find any free games minus the demos.
D: help, are there any free games!? (That last forever)
And if so, explain how to get to them on the 3DS like im a baby!

Sorry, there are no free games as of now. There are free applications like Swapnote. ExciteBike and Zelda Four Swords were free for a limited time but you can't get them now.
Fuck, so no free games at all? :/

That sucks
I wanna play some games, i have none D:

Probably should have bought some games with your 3ds then?
We struggle financially.
Ive been saving up for a DS for about 2 and a hlaf years, i saved more when i heard about 3ds and 3ds xl.
Probably ganna be awhile until i can afford any games.

Go have a look around. You should be able to get some great games really cheap. Street fighter 3D, Rayman, Dead or alive and a load more usually go for about £5-£10 a pop here in the UK.

Limited budget? You gotta learn the tricks to get all you want. Gumtree, ebay and so on are blessings, but in the UK we have hotukdeals. A deal submission site. It's the best thing ever.

Raid your local pawnshops too :)

what do you expect everyone to be able to afford things, believe it or not but a lot of people are struggling financially and cant afford games and get lucky enough to be able to get the system alone
Then maybe priorities may need to be reevaluated? No offense meant, metab.

AFAIK the 3DS was never marketed as a console which focuses on free games. Neither was the Vita. Or many of the other consoles for that matter. It's akin to buying a bluray player. You'll still need to get the Blu-rays or DVDs to watch movies.

Therefore, without prior knowledge regarding metab.'s financial situation, there is nothing wrong at all to suggest getting non-free games in order to enjoy the console. Because that is what is about.

And if you are struggling to the extent you can't afford luxury items it's probably not wise to invest in one that requires a repeat investment to get value out of. It's just common sense, you wouldn't buy a car without the money to buy petrol etc.

Best bet is to look for cheap/used games.

I have seen some 3DS games for as low as 9€ here in Portugal... of course they aren't any of the AAA games. But for example you can find RE: Mercenaries / Dead or Alive / SF4 pretty cheap almost everywhere.

Also, the eShop has a LOT of cheap games that you can get a lot of gaming time with them.

At least in the States, there are tons of good games for $2, although most of those are DSiWare and, thus, not 3D, but there are still great games to be had for a pittance.

I've looked at used stuff from Aus, shit is expensive.
Is it true aus 3DS can play European games since they're both 'PAL' region?
And its way to expensive for me, everything is heaps over priced.
