I concur! I could easily use my genesis controller on my atari 2600 and commodore vic20. Nintendo really dropped the ball this time by not allowing the superior xbox 360 controller to work with the wii.[/sarcasm]

I am using the usb port, like with a mouse, that is not supported by ninty is it? I am trying to make a lib to use the 360 controllers with the wii, I feel that this would be nice for the homebrew scene. Just because I am missing a small thing does to mean I am dumb/drunk. I only commented out the include because it was causing errors, but without it it worked fine, just the wii will not see the controllers... Is this rely that hard to understand?

there is no such thing to allow you to use a 360 controller of any type on a wii/wiiu that is why we are calling you "dumm drunk or even little kid"

It seems you, and everyone else are missing the Source Code link. As in, he's is trying to make or compile something that allows the 360 controller to be used in Wii homebrew. Not sure if it'll ever work, as it would have been done by now. But great job guys at reading the thread title and then posting.

I was wondering if that was your code. That's a very noble idea actually, I think it would be neat if you could pull it off. Sadly I know little to nothing about coding so I can't much help except in the realm of bad sarcasm. Sorry.

Of course you can do that, you just can't use them with a PC's serial port, at least not that I've ever seen.

Anyhow, my comment was funny to me until I went back and realized he was sharing code for something, then I realized,"hey, maybe this guy's trying to write drivers for the Wii?!"

ITT: A bunch of people are too stupid to recognize a developer asking for help programming something new, even when he posts his goddamned source in the first post.

Sorry, gudenaurock, I don't have any particular advice, my only experience with the 360 controller has been via the wireless dongle, not a wired variant.

That is ok, just need to know why the Wii does not see it.
