Devolution Xbox 360 controller issue

Hello, today i was bored and wanted to play some GC games on my Wii with Devolution. I started the game everything went well and after like, 30 minutes the controller freezes and i can't move, i find it funny that if i move in a direction and the controller decides to freeze it will get stuck in a running animation. I haven't found anything on other forums, i might be the only one with this issue. I'm using the cracked version of Devolution, official Xbox 360 controller and external HDD fat32. Another thing to note is that if i start the console with the controller plugged in, i don't see an image on my screen, but if i plug it after i start the console it works then stops working.
