8 blocks = 1 MB, so about 200 MB for the US 3DS demo.
Thank you both!

I agree the surround is awesooooomeGot both, and quiet impressed with the Wii U one. The graphics are perfect, the use of the Wii U gamepad is brilliant, but the sound...Wow. Sounds amazing in 5.1 Lpcm, glad I preordered.
I just tried out the Wii U version as a newcomer to the series. Even as a JRPG fan, I didn't really enjoy it personally and I didn't get the appeal of it either.
Yeah that was my first approach, to just go in swinging but that quickly ended in death, my second turn was more tactful with rolling out of the way of attacks and sheathing my weapon to heal until I won.You shold probably look up gameplay videos. I remmeber when i started the game like 3 years ago i tried to just attack the monsters and i ate sh*t every time. It has to do with learning how they move and when its ok to attack. A big nono is having your weapon unsheated all the time. this is what most beginners do. For god sakes this is what a "veteran" ign tester was doing, while getting his arse kicked. I just loled and closed the video. I might go buy a Wii U now lol
For me it was the running speed and loading screens that I couldn't get over, and well, the visuals are really bland and washed out.I can imagine some exaggeration if newcomers to the series decided to grab "the big sword" and felt super slow. That's kind of the point, it's the slowest, but has more power behind each hit. Faster weapons like dual blades hit a lot of times in quick motions, but do less damage with each hit.
The camera controls though, that's completely agreeable even to a self proclaimed MH veteran like myself. (playing MH since PS2 here)

What I just didn't like, or rather found unnecessary, was how the monster roams around between the different areas after you have done a certain amount of damage to it and would seemed to be healed (it was no longer falling over after attacking, when it was 5 seconds ago), and just how long the battle took. I didn't feel like there was any threat from it once I worked out the mechanics, it was just dodge and attack for 10 mins until it went down and by that time I was just glad it was over.
Maybe there's something I'm missing, but that was just my personal opinion of it.
I have it at home, but I still haven't even unboxed it I'll try this night or tomorrow, if nobody else has tried it before me.does anyone tried using circle pad pro?
The demo says it isn't compatible with the CPP. :/I have it at home, but I still haven't even unboxed it I'll try this night or tomorrow, if nobody else has tried it before me.
DAMN YOU CAPCOMThe demo says it isn't compatible with the CPP. :/
Just for the demo though. I mean, Capcom doesn't hate us that much, do they?DAMN YOU CAPCOM
I sure hope so, I've bought a CPP _exactly_ for this game, and Capcom's going to receive some combustible lemons from me if they've removed CPP support from the final version of the game.Just for the demo though. I mean, Capcom doesn't hate us that much, do they?
...
Im hoping thats just a demo issue. If I recall correctly, when the game shipped in Japan there was a bundle you could buy that included the CPPThe demo says it isn't compatible with the CPP. :/
That's definitely true, I think it will be included in the full release.Im hoping thats just a demo issue. If I recall correctly, when the game shipped in Japan there was a bundle you could buy that included the CPP
