Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is finally seeing the light of day in North America. The 3DS remake of Sega Saturn game was released in Japan this past August and features new demons, a brand new theme song and an anime opening. No word yet on an European release date.

...the 3DS is gradually getting games that I'd want to play...

Is this a sign, God? Is it?
No. Just a sign that Nintendo & Co. hates Europe. If English translations are available 6 months (or whatever) before the EU release, there is absolutely no excuse for delaying the release here.

ps. I prefer the PSVita for this sake. I've loved the DS and DSiXL (if you know what I mean :creep:) so far, but the region lock is a huge letdown for the 3DS. I've got quite a library to play, but the games I'd really want to play are released elsewhere.

Devil Survivor Overclocked was released in the UN on the 23rd August 2011. EU has it on 22nd February 2013.

Region locking is shit. A shit and unnecessary feature to penalise the consumer. It does piss me off that I know games I want to play will be unavailable to me because Ninty decided implement this anti-consumer shit.

Well, finally getting out of Nintendoland (Japan) ;) 3DS is a monster in Japan with pretty awesome support. Compare it to US/EU regions, Japanese 3DS is just in god tier.
Heh... not that much into Japanese games, at least not the ones on the 3DS... on the Vita though...

Damn, can't they just localize Lords of Apocalypse? I mean, really - I know the system isn't region locked but I don't know Japanese. It's always Japan getting the cream of the crop, hmm?

I just have to say that you forgot about the people who speak French, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, etc.

Oh wait. Most of the games people want to play are already translated into English which is the common language among Europeans. Oh wait.. I better tell Nintendo.

I really hope bravely default gets localised on the 3DS. That game looks so beautiful. 3DS could become even more attractive if they bring over those region locked Japanese games.

Hell yes, Bravely Default looks fucking great. It'll come eventually, though like most SE games.

Actually, SE is known to do the exact opposite with a lot of promising games. Soma Bringer? Sigma Harmonics? Final Fantasy Type-0? Those are just randomly-picked titles, too.

Nintendo can publish it then. Like they have for a lot of games, I believe Nintendo published DQ9 for the DS. :)

Fuck yes. It may not be the best of SMT but it's nice to finally see it coming overseas.
I just got about halfway through the PSx version but now NOPE

edit: This 3DS version is almost identical to the originals, by the way. It looks nicer visually of course, but they kept everything the original had. (good thing.)
