I've found this guy:

for only 110 euro's..! A normal Wii costs about €135.

Is this a good deal or not? :)

Also new in seal in a retail shop which is trusted really well.(Freerecordshop)

I think you answered your own question... As you said, it's 25 euros cheaper than normal, sealed in the box, and being sold by a trusted shop. So yeah, sounds like a good deal to me. :)

I believe that it should have Donkey Kong : Original Edition installed on it, which in itself is a bit of a rarity. I would say its a bargain

red or black wii's usually have blocked dvd drives,
aside from having the 4.3 update,

also make sure it's not one of those Wii2 models, without the gamecube compatibility,
you know, the ones that dont play gamecube games at all etc, and dont even have gamecube ports,
if it's one of those, it's a bad deal.

Who plays games on DVD-s lol?

A 16 GB USB Stick does the job.

Have it running in an enclosed area, like an entertainment center with a door. Older models can also overheat if you use WC24 and Standby mode.
mine's not enclosed, and it's on the vertical stand, but it's usually on, even if i'm not using it - with WC24 - and never had a problem,
i guess its like people frying their 360s, that never happened to me.
hell, all my legacy consoles work just fine, i guess it depends on how you take care of them.

Ohh...
I think friends Wii is gonna overheat too.
In standby mode the AC Adapter makes weird noise but when i am playing its normal.
Well maybe... its not the Wii.

I turned WC24 off on mine as soon as I heard about this a few months back. It gets pretty freaking hot with WC24 enabled, and I still don't understand why. Fortunately, I keep mine on top of my entertainment center.

The Wifi adapter is (almost?) always active when WC24 is enabled.

I think, worst case, if he wants his DVD-R compatibility back (assuming he had it before) he could just replace the drive from his old unit.

Also, no worries about it having GameCube ports. I think they stopped making the red ones before they took that feature out. Besides, the box shows it standing upright. All Wii's that come with a stand ("vertical Wii's") DO have GameCube ports.

Why doesn't my red wii have dk installed? :hateit:

going by your flag, and using a bit of google foo, when the red Wii made its way to the States, instead of getting Donkey Kong preinstalled you guys got New Super Mario Bros and Wii Sports chucked in along with a Wii Motion Plus.
