Hey guys, about to get my 6th gym badge. Can you guys rate my team so far?

Lvl 40 Serpirior
Lvl 40 Arcanine
Lvl 40 Crobat
Lvl 40 Zoroark
Lvl 40 Lucario

I also have a Lvl 35 Volcarona sitting in my PC, is that worth levelling and keeping? I wanted to keep a slot open for a legendary or a Lapras.

I think you should replace Arcanine with Volcarona. After a Quiver Dance it's pretty much unbeatable. And I'm not so sure about that Crobat, I mean if you had a Braviary it would be way better, iirc you can find a Rufflet on route 23.

You have an awesome party! And plus you don't need such strong pokemon. I got the 6th badge by my pokemon being lv. 27 to lv. 30

Quite honestly, I'm shocked at how they shove the musketeer trio at the player constantly. Theres no searching for them. Walk onto a route, and BAM. Cobalion/Virizion/Terrakion just pop up in front of me.

Since this isn't exactly competitive play but I would still recommend it.
Quiver dance
Fiery dance (Can boost Sp. atk while you attack too. XD) or Fire blast (Epic stab +Freakin' high Sp. atk = destroys most pokemon in one attack)
Hidden power (Ground, Ice or Rock)
Bug buzz (A MUST!)

Do this set and you will WIN! XD
Especially with a Ninetales with Drought on your team. XD

Roserade: First use the whistling attack which makes the pokemon sleep then use giga drain

Samurott = Aqua Tail,Megahorn,Surf and Waterfall
Cobalion = Iron Head,Cut,Retaliate and Secret Sword
Virizion = Seed Bomb,Flash,Energy Ball and Secret Sword
Lucario = Aura Sphere,Dark Pulse,Metal Claw and Force Palm
Krokoodile = Crunch,Foul Play,Earthquake and Strength

Lostlorn forest is the first area you can encounter the trio. It's the area to the right of Nimbasa.

I think you can encounter them from level 18-20.

It really depends on your level and stats. (I took her down first time)
Assuming that your Pokemon levels are equal with Iris's and it's the first time battle:
Hydriegon (Lv.57) - Lucario with Aura Sphere/Force Palm.
Druddigon (Lv. 57) - Hack it down with other Pokemon.
Archeops (Lv. 57) - Samurott should take it down with Aqua Tail.
Aggron (Lv. 57) - Samurott should take it down with Aqua Tail or Lucario with Aura Sphere/Force Palm.
Lapras (Lv. 57) - Lucario with Aura Sphere/Force Palm or Virizion with Seed Bomb/Energy Ball. (Note that Lapras has Ice Beam)
Haxorus (Lv. 59) - Hack it down with other Pokemon.
*Iris has 3 Full Restore at hand.
