Gaming You think these 2 DS phats can be fixed

I've been wanting to get back into the DS/3ds scene, before i get a 3ds i want to do some DS stuff.. i sold my ds lite, before i go out and buy another DS (need the slot 2) i wanna try to fix these.

So the one on the left still has the screen in it (busted though), but the one on the right's just completely came out, don't know if that means extra damage. Both have snapped black wires that go through the hinge, assuming it's for the LCD screen and not anything else? I've changed a psp lcd screen before, but this might be harder because how it folds up. can these be fixed? What would i need?

In order to boot on, both need to have the flexible cable replaced (the black wire that goes across the screens). You can find it here, or search on other sites: http://www.dealextre...ds-15855?item=8

See the picture in the site to see how it is, cause it is specifically for this version of the ds.

The right one looks like it would need some soldering for the speakers to work. The left one would need a replacement housing like this: http://www.dealextre...ver-5166?item=2

Overall, the left one looks like it would be easier to fix, but there's always the possibility of something broken in the board.
You can seach for those items on ebay or somewhere else, they are pretty common. Also, remember you need a tri-wing screwdriver in order to take some screws!
