I tried installing a wii game with 646 and it code dumped. Tried 3 times. But the dumps weren't static, the numbers were changing, like it was dumping 3 or 4 times in a row. weird...
Yea that can be pretty good, havent tried to install a game since ages, so something can be broken, I need to try it out the next days again to see if it works...

anyone up to do a test on Mario Kart and see if you can get a ghost to save on nandemu. i cannot emulate nand and save a ghost race. would just like confirmation and maybe try and figure out why.

thanks and good luck

r646 btw

648 fixed all blackscreen issues, thanks Fix you're the best :P

Hope that spyro's logo becomes the default one, really cool, doesn't look bad on slowdowns while loading, great colors and it got the most votes... maybe some day :)

Awesome. r649 apparently background music is fixed! Can't wait to test this tonight. Much appreciated FIX94!!!
-fixed the background music issue FINALLY the correct way, found
the core of the problem :D
-made background music code easier and smaller, cleaned it up

GLORY!!!! I feel like one of the guys in that commercial screaming like a fangirl in a room full of Heineken.. Music is rockin' once again, huge thanks fix94, I knew it would only be a matter of time :D I don't know what the underlying issue was, but if you have any layman's insight as to what the problem was it would be cool, I know it can get way over my head sometimes but I like to learn, thanks again bro.

All I can say is Can you feel it? Huh, huh, huh!!?

WiiFlow r649 with Spayro's wait logo FTW!! It's a beautiful thing over here.

@[member='fix94'], once you guys finish taking another look over at the game installation feature. then tweak and refine it, I think you'll have a true official WiiFlow RC on your hands. If all the ripping features for both GC/Wii are fully functional, we have gold ladies and gents ;-) Wel that and WAD installation feature :P and custom GC banner downloads ;). Edit: Fix r649 is a step in the great direction when it comes to music, I have found that Wiiflow is only playing one track at a time though. I have to fast forward or rewind to hear another song.

I think maybe starting with r648 the smoothness of [member='JJ-Kwil']'s wait logo and any wait logo in general has dramatically increased. That, small white spark that stuttered intermittently is completely gone. It looks really good now guys.

Edit: By the way, what does "Cover_Prio=" do exactly? I think it stands for Cover Priority but I was looking over one of my older wiiflow.ini files and I had a crazy number like 32781... is that number crazy? cuz it's usually 0 when I look at it, I think

@[member='sdoc96'] once I take r649 for a nice test drive, I'm thinking about moving my setup over to my old method which was "WiiFlow apps and settings folders on NTFS 2nd Part with NAND on FAT32 1st Part."
I'm going to compare their performance to see which setup does best. I'd like to keep as much stuff over on my larger NTFS partition and leave more room for GC games on there cuz I'm tight for space, plus my WBFS folder is already on my 2nd partition and if O.J. really is working on NTFS support for neek2o it'll be as great as it can get for me. I'll let you know how it goes.

@[member='fledge68'], [member='jiiwah'], the "Help" button looks out of place in the Starnight theme. Thought I'd mention it in case you guys haven't seen it yet ;)

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm pretty excited to give this rev a spin too.
Once I'm happy with the meat and two veg, then I can start messing around with the garnish of plugins and NANDy goodness.

LoL! Yea, now that the music is working I finally installed some themes over at wii spiffycovers for WiiFlow and enabled fanart to start seeing all the beauty WiiFlow has to offer. Now that banners, music AND fanart are all active, it might be a bit much but hey it's how I like it, let's see how this bad boy is running shall we :creep:

I don't know what the underlying issue was, but if you have any layman's insight as to what the problem was it would be cool
Well, the short explaination is that you need to always set a default value to one variable, otherwise it will just use what is set in the memory before, and in that music player code were a few ones which were not set, so it was possible that some shit was standing in it ;) Also in the music player was alot of unused code and unused variables, so they were several small things wrong.

Is it time for this yet?

just wait, i have my new theme an working on it. (had to make two of them :(, one for gx an the best one for wiiflow, cause wiiflow doesn't have a theme maker.(would rock if we had one like gx or cfg.) i had to see were the buttons were going to be placed. :D ). plus want to make sure i don't have to redo this bad boy as soon as i release it.(this would suck.)

Thanks Shortz, I'm just referring to the framed banner preview :P

Everything seems ok for me with r649. Seems like the WiiFlow has it's favorites songs though.
Now today I finally got my replacement wii motion plus adapter in the mail, and I went to go fire up Zelda skyward sword, and the game is magically gone! I booted cfg loader and the game was there? Next started up WiiXplorer and went to the USB2 (NTFS) and in the WBFS folder and a The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword [SOUE01] folder is there but no wbfs file inside. ??? . This happened with a few other games too in the past. I'm messing with neek2o as well as WiiFlow and on occassion, I do hard reset the Wii and HD so maybe that's why I lost the data. I have Textura and can do a ntfs chk but it hardly ever finds anything.
OK so I did a real Windows chkdsk through the VM and it said that some probs were found and fixed but that Zelda game is still missing. I have the retail disc and the wbfs file (somewhere around here) but it's just weird. Is there any real advantage to NTFS? I know about the 4GB FAT limitation and all but I seem to be losing games on occassion back when my NTFS partition was WBFS formatted, I never seemed to lose any games even after a freeze/hard reboot.

EDIT: Kirby, and Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles [RBUE08] are gone too..... Just empty folders with the name. Is this happening to anyone else?
Glad that I keep backups. I totally blame NTFS for this.

Oh god, I would freak out if that would happen to me! That never happend to me, lucky you have backups. Well I hope you can get it to work again, good question what does that.

I do plenty of Hard resets with the testing that I do, I've used NTFS from the beginning and still do. I really don't think that's an NTFS problem but I'm no expert. Going by my experience it's unlikely that it's just an NTFS issue though.

Messing around with neek2o, WiiFlow, and older versions of PL have corrupted and deleted my NANDS in the past (also have backups) but have yet to have a deleted WBFS file unless I accidentally did it lol.
