Well, all I can say is...amazing. Great work Fix, been playing with r657 for quite a while today and it's working brilliantly and seems very stable.
OGG music is fine now too, along with theme swapping. No issues at all.
Whoever suggested running the plugins from FAT32 partition 1 (as opposed to NTFS partition 2) was a great suggestion as my N64 stuff seems to at least start now.
Thanks to all for the great efforts.

- Now we can hold 'b' for source menu even if wiimote gestures is enabled. Which
means we should be able to remove 'b' on home button and 'b' on mode button.

i hate.. hate hate hate.... "hold b for source menu" please dont remove b on mode button for source... if ANYTHING please add a "disable hold b for source=yes" into the wiiflow.ini

if i sound like a whiney bitch, sorry.

Well the mplayer wouldn't work for me from the NTFS partition. I was pulling my hair out over why it didn't work. On my FAT partition the only things that I have in my /wiiflow folder are the plugins and the source_menu everything else is in /wiiflow on the NTFS (usb2:)

Everything still running good for me under r0 ... er... I mean r657. I've been playing Zelda SS for the last 3 hours and the spirit lady thingy popped out and told me that my wiimote battery was going dead so it's on the charger... But anyways, no probs with saving or loading on anything.

Hey all,

I've setup a batch action in photoshop to add different backgrounds to source menu button sets in bulk, and have a few that I've made for personal use, but thought i would share them if anyone's interested.

Included:
-Source buttons only, no source menu!
-Previously released 2nd Edition Set, + 2 versions for Dark Carbonik Green/Purple/Red/Yellow, + (a quickly made) SubSpace set.
-This is the new naming convention i'll be using from here on out. It's different than my last released sets, I based them off of gbatemp member "Dark"s naming convention for the Andro!d icon set he released. I liked his setup of full names rather than my setup of 2 or 3 letters, so decided to go with it (I changed his "atari" to "atari_2600", but that's the only change i made) . I hope other button makers will maybe follow the same format, as it will make life a lot easier for everyone! It's nice to just be able to overwrite the current source menu buttons when you want to switch up themes! :)

NewICONTemplateSpread2.png

Personally, for the Dark Carbonik sets, i like to use v1 (column 1) as the "main" buttons, and v2b (column 4) as the hover buttons. Adds a little "bang". I like "bang". :)

Edit 08-19-12: Added Orchid and 8bit button sets to the d/l link (also included dark's andro!d set in there). If anyone would like these icon sets on a particular custom background, pm me a background image and I can put a set together for you fairly quickly.

i can't but agree that using the new method is not practical. +1 for keeping b on mode.

Devolution keeps having trouble mounting my USB hard drive through Wiiflow's Gamecube launcher; it shows four flashes and returns to the system menu. I had it working for a little while in r646, then updated to r657 and GC games would no longer load. As far as settings go, Devolution is selected as the loader and the games in are the /games directory, each named 'game.iso' and located in its own sub-folder. The drive has two partitions, the first FAT32 and the second NTFS. Wii games load correctly from the NTFS partition. The Devolution loader has no problem launching the games. Any ideas or settings I should change?

Edit:

To troubleshoot, I copied one of the games to an SD card and used Wiiflow to load it with Devolution, which worked. Curiously, after that I was able to load GC games from USB1 again. I'm wondering if Wiiflow is not messing up the path or something?

here are the ini's for dark carbonik set.. all i redid was the color of the text (buttons). to match the themes. :)
they look better then plain white.
http://www.mediafire...53w151l27mhd9bp
also since this looks to be stable at this moment in time, i'll release my multi flow. i'll add a txt file to it an explain how to change your main ini so it will show the way it looks best.
( changinging the banner area were it shows up, an the buttons, so they all show were they need to. i hate to do it like this, but for now this is the only way to get the full effect of this theme.)
i just need to do some tweaks, like adding in the ogg file for the sound effects. an some button tweaks..

I think my missing game problem may be due to Textura-NTFS,
My nieces' are coming today and wanted to play some karaoke games so I put afew on the WiiFlow HD then disk checked both partitions with disk utility and all was fine. Fired up the WiiFlow and ONLY the 3 karoke games that I put on were all that was there. All my other hundreds of games vanished! I looked in WiiXplorer and it was the same. Next I plugged the HD into my my macbook went to disk utility and ran ntfschk on the games .. nothing. So I booted in Paraelles, my windows VM and did the chkdsk and it found some probs and fixed them, The list was too long to screen shot but it mentioned orphaned files the list was amazingly huge (ugh!) BUT a happy ending because every single game was back and not an empty folder at all. Every game seems to be the right size that I remember and they work as if they were never even gone. Weirdness....
So I guess from now on, when ever I want to check the partitions, I will only use windows or a windows VM. Yep all the games seem fine. I was wondering about Textura and os x mountain lion, They claim that fsck.ntfs and ntfsfix are supported but it seems otherwise...
Also I have the mac app "WinOnX" which lets me use WiiBackupManager, and at first, I was wondering if it was the culprit somehow because sometimes it won't see all of my games (even though they are there in the finder).

Also I would like to add that Konami generic black USB mic is working flawlessly on karaoke games (unlike my singing)

@[member='mastershoes']: I'm really loving those source_menu buttons especially the SubSpace blue buttons :yay: Thanks.

I had a sec and thought that I'd hit up smart svn and uptdate. I saw that in r658 you switch to the awesome spayrosam boot animation!
thanks FIX94 It looks great!

Well, I tried out 657, and everything seems to be working remarkably well. Even better than I expected, in fact. Wii and gc booting works as expected, as do the homebrew and emus (vbagx still does a kinda starry field thing...If a splash screen could be put in its place, that'd be sweet). Music and theme switching are there and perform fine. But the thing I'm most pleased about is that Wiiware games booted with neek boot and play great and then return to the real nand when done. I dunno if I missed the announcement, or if Fix even DID anything (he seemed kinda grouchy when I asked him about wiiware returning from neek)

But what ever happened, it works brilliantly. So now I can do away with the system menu entirely (except for managing channels and saves, which I rarely do). Neeked wiiware don't return to wiiflow itself, but to the real nand system menu. So how I have it set up is I have real nand set to auto boot wiiflow, and neek nand set to autoboot neek2o. That way when it returns from wiiware, it boots neek which goes back to real nand, which auto boots back to wiiflow. So somewhere between when neek booting was introduced and now, something got done right! Oh, also tried exit to neek, still freezes on code dump, but other than that, VERY well done. Good job and keep 'em comin'! :D

changelog says:
-reloading IOS to IOS58 before booting homebrew/devolution
-added AHBPROT patch before reloading to IOS58 (thanks postloader)

Nothing there about spayrosams boot animation. I think you got a hold of the version Abz posted.

Could you please test r658? That may gives better result in booting homebrew like devolution, wiimc etc.
Thanks, FIX94. r658 is working fine so far. I'll use it for a while and see how it goes. It seems like it might take a little longer to load up a game in Devolution. Is that to be expected?

Hmmm... just happened again with r658 after I copied a new rip of XGIII into the games directory... so the IOS reload may not be the problem. I was able to get it working again by switching to loading GC from SD, loading a game from the SD card, exiting, then switching back to GC loading from USB1.
