Homebrew gbaemu4ds: GBA emulator for DS(i) (DSi Entry)

Is the graphic better if you use the sc Version and the upper screen on a 3DS

  • I can't do that (have no 3DS) (have not tested that)

How do I save?
Save in-game, then press L+R+A+B, select "save save", and press A. It will write to a save file. Make sure though, that when you're starting the game, that you pick the right save type, or it may not save properly, or even at all.

The Pokemon GBA series games uses the bottom option, Flash 128K.

And the L+R+A+B saving isn't working. No save option comes up.

Whenever I do a test save then reload on Ruby (E)

It says in game: The save has been deleted. The internal battery has run dry but the game can be played. However clock options will no longer be in effect.

Help please?

I found a method of saving that takes about a minute but works perfectly.
Follow these steps:
1)Save with the L+R+A+B
2)Save in game and the LRAB at the SAME time.
3)Save with LRAB
4)Save in game
5)Save with LRAB

Yes, it takes forever but it works perfectly. Remember on step 2 to save in game and with LRAB at the SAME time.

Hi!
First of all, I would like to thank Ichichfly for his fantastic work with this GBA emulator for DS, I have been looking one for many years, but this is the first that really works (I have tried Pokemon Sapphire (USA version), Golden Sun (Spain version), Golden Sun II (Spain version) and they work ^^)

Second, I have a few questions:
1) Is only posible to save the games with A+B+L+R? Because the R-button of my dsi doesn't work :(
2) I have tried many of the version that you have upload in http://ichfly.github.com/gbaemu4DS/ but only the "hwspeedup beta 1" has worked in my R4i sdhc (http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp) So, my question is... Is there another version that could work in my flashcard? Because the pictures in the games sometimes aren't see properly and the games go very slow.

Thank very much for your help!!
(Sorry for my bad English, English doesn't is my mother language)
1) soon not yet
2)try to start it with the HBMenu

I have tried it and now the games go faster!
Thank you very much ^^
But I don't know if I did it the best form...
I downloaded the hbmenu, I put it in mi R4i and then I started the BOOT.nds archive.
Next I opened the code_container_adv_irq.nds archive that was in the hyperspeedup folder.
Now I can play Golden Sun in my Dsi :D
Thank you, and please, continue with this great project ;)

Wow, this is nice. And I also tested Rhythm Tengoku and it worked perfectly. The only issue is the extended resolution that leaves out some space on the bottom and right edges without any sprites. (the background is still there, even when it's animated.) So does sound work on DSTT because it doesn't on Rhythm Tengoku and that's the only ROM I have.
There is no sound at all for this emulator.

Sound has been dissabled so the emulator works with more roms.

This is plain epic.
They said it couldn't be done. Yet here it is.
It's like the N64 emulator for PSP: Nobody expected epic compatibility if an emulator came out.

i really not understand how the hell load that thing

Use HBMenu if it won't load. HWSpeedup loads on my R4i-SDHC's default firmware, but Hyperspeedup will only load with HBMenu.

I don't understand how people say that it can't be done...
Some things say's otherwise.
3ds emulate gba games you bought in the store.
NDS/NDS light can run gba games in the 2nd slot.
Why would it be impossible ?
