Lol I'm pretty sure I would love to play Kid Icarus with rumble. So much action my 3DS would rumble like there's no tommorow, making my stylus tapping on the screen reapeatedly thus, making aiming ridiculously hard.

Sure, you can use the stylus I suppose, but it would require EXTREMELY simplified controls that eliminate use of one shoulder button and the four face buttons

I'm pretty sure if a dev(s) wanted to use the stylus and all the buttons, they could and would use the stylus and all the buttons.
So, no, it doesn't have to require " EXTREMELY simplified controls".

What kind of control scheme would you have in mind, may I ask? It's not going to be practical to be aiming with the stylus one moment, then fumble with it in your hand to hit a button to use a certain item the next. The only exception in my experience is using the official DS thumb strap, which makes it AMAZINGLY easy to hit the buttons while wearing it, but is nowhere near as precise for aiming as a regular stylus (or at least a 3rd party thumb stylus with a point). Unless I'm missing a really important detail, of course.

When playing kid icarus... if you open your eyes really really wide it makes Pit fly/run faster.

haha, except 4D is three spacial dimensions and one time dimension. not an extra way to come out of a screen and cover me in clarette. that would just be like... h...hard 3D?... (3DS is really 4D already)

It's a circle pad pro device that allows you to switch modes for the right stick so that it fools the cart to think that where you aim the right stick is where you are moving your stylus on the bottom screen from the middle of the screen. Essentially making kid icarus playable in the way many hoped you could play it.
