Hey every one I have a problem,
I really want to play majora's mask again, but I cant decied if how and when to play it.
I have a 100" 1080p hd Projector... I avoid playing older games on it simply cause they look extremely dated when on such an amazing screen, even with emulated enhancements.
So I am wondering, what will come first:
►A remake of Majora's mask for 3ds like they did for OOT
►They will hack 3DS so I can play it on a 64 emulator on a much more 64 graphic friendly screen?
I cant decided weather to wait for one of those two options to come up or just give in and play it on my laptop.
Sigh, woe is me. :(

I completely agree.

I don't know what you're complaining about with emulation. Use PJ64 with Jabo's Direct3D8. You can have full, actual, true widescreen if you adjust the settings, and it will look nice and crisp on your tee vee.

Get a controller adapter from Raphnet and you can use an original controller or a Hori Mini with rumble.

Ain't gonna get better than that my friend.

I have all that, and i've done all that, my problem is that, when you play a 64 game or something older on computer like say... morrowind or fallout 1, on SUCH A MASSIVE SCREEN, it looks very very bad, the bad things are hidden on a smaller screen reguardless of the resulotion. Its like giant polygons of death!

Example:
say you have a 3inch plastic figure of Link from Zelda 64, picture the same figure made 5 feet big, its very jagged and primitive at that size, but smaller its far less noticable.
Its kinda like the backlash that comes with HD resultions in movies when you see one of your hot attractive actors on a HD screen you can see every imperfect, pock mark, scar, wrinkle on their face, where you dont on a old CRT.

They said it will most likely be released after Zelda 3DS comes out (Aka noy for a long time).

I never played Majora's Mask all the way through, but I'm waiting for a remake. Only because I can't stand to play console games anymore. If you really want to play it now, just try using the projector.

There will not be a 3DS Majora's Mask. And there will probably not be a working N64 emulator for the 3DS anytime this year. You have 4 choices: N64, Gamecube, Wii, and Emulation on PC. Play it or don't.

You sure about that? Nintendo said they're definitely considering it but that, if they did remake it, it wouldn't be until after they made a completely new Zelda game for 3DS.

Who cares if the graphics aren't HD on your screen? It's a good game, and it's still up in the air on whether or not they actually will remake it. Just play it on an emulator, or buy it for your Wii. You won't regret it.

No, I'm not sure. Last I checked, it's impossible to prove that something will never happen. However, there has not been any news that Nintendo is "definitely considering" it. Almost everything about a possibility for this game is from fans. I have scoured gaming news in English and Japanese, and the only thing that I found was one developer basically saying "it would be nice." I don't generally equate wishfully thinking to "definitely considering."

Lol sorry, "definitely" was a poor choice of words. What they did say was that they acknowledge operation moonfall and "hope to respond" to the request sometime in the future.

Though not "definitely", that still sounds like "considering" to me.

It would definitely be cool, but I'm not holding my breath for it, because I imagine by the time it comes out (if it does), the 3DS and the games will have grown to the point that a re-release an old game won't interest me. Once the system really gets off the ground and people are making super interesting games for it (much like how the DS was; that took a while too), people aren't going to think much about a re-release when they have so many games to choose from, especially if one of those is a most-likely superior Zelda game that was made specially for the System. I think if they do remake it, they may have to overhaul it more than Ocarina to make it appealing among the rest of the 3DS library.
