I actually like the live concerts, they're pretty amazing from what I saw on the internet. Vocaloids are now seen as Virtual Idols, especially Hatsune Mikku, this might actually have a strong impact in the future of music. =3

Those "live" concerts are the only few concerts I have ever considered even watching. The other ones being from Suzumiya Haruhi, K-On, and Lucky Star.

Gumi sounds a lot better than Miku IMO. Sure, there are a few good Miku songs but most are simply too high pitched for my taste.

If its cool to go to a fake concert with tens of thousands of unwashed otaku hopping to a light projection and songs about spinning around and vegetable juice, then I don't want to be cool.

I'm fine listening to the music in private. Besides... not like live music is better than studio-made music so its not like I'm missing out on fake-live music.

Though you seem more ignorant to the good Miku songs (considering how many songs there are, that's not THAT surprising since a lot of mainstream ones aren't great).

As far as concerts go, a bunch of unwashed Otaku are a hell of a lot better than the drunken unwashed retard crowd most concerts have. The fact that it's a projection means very little as well, honestly.
The entire concept of a concert is asinine. A Miku theme is hardly any more absurd than any other concert.

I'm I'm neither complimenting or insulting po pi po, I'm just saying that its an incredibly lame song for a concert setting. Its like Kid's Bop, or songs for kids by kids:



I'm guilty of enjoying (and replaying) Winter Wrap Up or Art of the Dress (and tens to hundreds of Vocaloids alike), but I wouldn't want to be caught in a concert jumping to it.

I dunno... She sings faster than is humanly possible in some songs (i.e. The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku). Only the masterful asians can even attempt to sing that fast and succeed for a second before needing air.
