Caveat, the 10 years in both scenarios is a healthy enjoyable period of years

if your fate was to die at 30, you die at 40 instead (pay for 10 years)

if your fate was to diet at 15, you die at 5 instead (if you are paid for 10 years)

I'd probably pay a good 5 years of salary for that, I wouldn't accept any payment to live 10 years less

Tbh most of America is actually cheaper than western Europe - I am paying around $700 a month in rent and live in a top 20 US city in a pretty safe area downtown

Okay so if they're $200K in debt, earn $300K per year... and it takes them 20-25 years to repay the loans.

Someone should really teach those people how to budget their money.
