My friend just asked me about 20 minutes ago if they ported Skyrim to the DS yet. I told her that wasn't possible and would never happen (I cited all the reasons and everything) and in return I got this:

"BUT SKYRIM WAS MADE BY NINTENDO! WHY WOULD NINTENDO DEVELOP A GAME IF IT WASN'T FOR WII OR 3DS?!"

After some time, I figured out that she thought Skyward Sword was called Skyrim. On the other end of the scale, she legitimately thought Elder Scrolls V was Skyloft.

Then I told her that Skyward Sword wasn't being ported to the DS. She flipped out, stating that Skyward Sword should be ported because WindWaker was ported. I don't have the heart to tell her that Phantom Hourglass is the sequel to WindWaker and not a port. It would just kill her.

She just doesn't understand games sometimes. Like the time she bought a 3DS game because she didn't know 3DS games aren't compatible with a DS or DSi. She assumed that since DS games worked on it, then it was like the DSi and all her 3DS games would work on her DSi.

One of my ex-friends (who thinks it's not a good Zelda game if it's not in Twilight Princess Hyrule, with Twilight Princess graphics) thinks that all the Links are the same. Before she stopped talking to me (because I like Skyward Sword), she would always ask me things like "In Ocarina of Time, where's Ordon? It makes no sense to have a Hyrule without Ordon." or "If Link didn't become a hero until he was an adult in Twilight Princess, then why do all these other games show him becoming a hero as a kid?"

Reminds me of the time when my cousin knew this girl in his high school who said that the Playstation had a more powerful CPU than the Gamecube. I thought it was pretty funny, actually.

Well this is embarrassing... When I was talking with my mom about people being stupid when it comes to things that they shouldn't be stupid about... She admitted that on my brother's birthday, the list he had made up for present ideas included the word Zelda. She went to buy him a Zelda game and thought they were too expensive at the time, so she went out and got him a CDi with the three Zelda games from some person on Craigslist because it was cheaper.

She said she thought all Zelda games were the same, so it wouldn't have mattered what she got. However, she now looks for cheaper games in the used section. And she's since used the CDi to buy joke presents.

Oddly enough, though, my mom loves those Zelda CDi games. She thinks they're better than Zelda 1.
