New God of War in development

It looks as though the release of the new God of War IV (4) is about to get very real, now we have news that PS3 development has started. We already knew that it was coming, since a trailer had been launched, so it’s finally nice to see some fresh news. Now we still do not have a precise release date, all we know is that it will be sometime in 2012, possibly September.
Almost 20 months have passed since the release of God of War III, so the recent job listing for a Senior Staff Concept Artist in Sony Santa Monica looks to be solid proof that development is about to begin. If this is the case, then we do not expect to see God of War IV released until late 2012, but even that could be pushing.
There had been rumors that the next installment of the game was going to make it to PS Vita, but The Silent Chief doesn’t think this will happen, as the job posting asks for the candidate to have experience in “previous or next-gen video game platform experience (e.g. PS2, PS3, X-box, X-box 360 etc.)”
Now is the time where fans of the franchise will begin to ask what the title will be called, as well as the storyline and characters?

No this is bad, how can this even happen since Kratos killed you know who. That should hve ended the story arc unless this is set before the Chains of Olympus psp game.

The first game was great, but I never really played any of them after that. It seems like they kind of lost steam and ran out of ideas for which Greek legends Kratos could dismember next.

its seems like a continuing title somehow like Asasssin's creed which i feel they dont want to end and keep going unless the end seems near.
great game but after playing GoW2 and being saved by Gaia, i decided to stop as i have bros and sisters in the room

Pretty hyped for this. I know they are milking this but there are some games that I never get tired of and GoW is definitely one of them.
