Two requests:

1. The show/hide buttons in the original post are not working for me in the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. Not sure what's wrong there.

2. Could you add a section explaining what the various settings in globalsettings.ini do? I can't find anything explaining that on gbatemp or even by way of google, so far.

Make sure you clear your browsers cache (ctrl shift delete, click the arrow then select cache only, for firefox
on google chrome click the wrench icon then options, personal stuff and then clear browsing data, select clear cache only then click clear browsing data)

you just drop them into the same folder as your ROMs, and they have to have the same filename

thta's what i thought, tried it already with both pokémon soul silver and platinum, didn't work for me..

where are you getting the saves from? and do they have the same filenames excluding the extension (the .sav or .nds)

these are .sav files I have from playing the games on no$gba, and yes they have the same filename except for the file extension. I'm not new to emulating so I know about the basics, I was very surprised when i couldn't get it to work with any of my game saves I don't see why this isn't working. Maybe no$gba .sav files aren't compatible? I know there are online .sav file converters, and while typing this i vaguely remember seeing acekard, R4 and other flash card formats in the list of conversion types so i'm gonna go try that right now !!

Okay I managed to solve this, when I trying to convert my nogba .sav to a supercard/cyclo/acekard format it said Error: save file doesn't need converting, so I first converted it to a random other .sav file type and then back to supercard and tadaa it worked.

It won't hurt to plug it in and see if it works or not. Most likely you'll need to upgrade to firmware 1.13.
