@Wiibricker, you could create a .wad and install it in the real NAND

Does is really work, because the readme says real nands are not directly supported? Anyone has to test this first to be sure.

It also says in the readme that it will work with a WAD. I see no specific reason for it to work in SNEEK but not on real NAND.

Perhaps the same reason why DIOS-MIOS never worked on real NANDs?

I think you didn't got what he said in the readme, real NAND is not DIRECTLY supported, this means you must install the .app file as a WAD.
Installation is less convenient, that's all.

About this, not really useful imo since it's probably more convenient to manage Memory Cards through the Wii menu but it's definitively a very good achievement from a technical point of view (too bad source is not available !) and I know some people have requested this before.

I think it's epic

I've got lots of gc mem cards, the biggest ones you can buy, but this tool now allows regular backups more easily. There are a few games my kids like to play that result in corrupt saves so this will save me time and effort.

I love things that allow you to keep your sh1t safe in a quick hassle free way

There is a short list of games in the readme that are not working.
Also...
Here are the names of some known "protected" saves F-Zero GX, Fire Emblem, Medal of Honor: Frontline and Pokemon Colosseum.
They may give problems or not because they do some magic with the mem card serial number.

Saves needs to be RAW @ /saves//

I love it

well this is cool for sneek/uneek.. so wondering this, if wii is shut down during gc game play, i wonder if you can munipulate sneek/uneek. to run a sort of usb loading once you save to the sd card.. just like we use "game" file for the games.. some thing to think about since it has gotten this far..
thanks nice work. crediar

Obviously, you've been living under a rock. This already happened months ago.

This has already been done but due to hardware limitations (or whatever that specific reason was) it was impossible or nearly impossible. Either way probably not going to see it happen.

00..08.app is the final file
wink.gif

He says "download mios from nus" so ok but there we have got 2 .app file, 00..0b.app (1Ko) and 00...0c.app (178Ko) so I guess we have to rename the 00..c.app file as mios.app
happy.gif

This will create a 200Ko 000.8.app file, it looks good because if I take 00..b.app instead of 00.c.app, it create a 40Ko 000.8.app file

Someone should make more clear instructions. Where does the MIOS.app come from and what 0008.app?

000c.app = 0008.app
mios.app = ?

FixELF mios.app NMM.elf 0000000C.app

Yeah, but the file will still be named as 0000000c.app in the NAND (in other words, that's the file you gotta replace). There's no real 00000008.app file.
