I do not have complex studies, but i'm a fanatic about these topics. Though, last time I read Neurology was probably 5 years ago. So, about that boy who recovered; he was a teenager at the time, he woke up and was exactly as-is; no speech impediments, no memory loss, etc. Everything was absolutely fine with him afterwards and remained that way. His sibling had to convince the medical team to puncture his toe to show that he could still feel pain and thus was in there somewhere; that is what caused them to keep him on life support, and then he fully recovered.

Hope is very powerful. More Powerful than Faith. Though one has to have Faith to get it.

NCBI had an article from 2011 confirming this brain cell regeneration process, but post 2020 NCBI has forgotten the basic scientific method.
