is it safe to overclock the switch lite in order to perform better? is it worth it ? will it damage my switch in the long run?
best overclock settings suggested by you guys ?

Blue Screen

I have nintendo switch 2, CFW moded

But my daughters are playing their nswitch and it fell on the floor. I was not around. they told me they turn it on and they dont what they did. they are just 6 years old and 3 years old.

basically the switch is working fine, no files is being upgraded or downgraded

now when they gave it to me its on bluescreen already

I tried;
*turning it on and off - still blue screen
*pressing + and - and power button at the same time but its not working
*remove the sd card and it says "boot that"
*clean the sd card and put it back
-it is going to the loading screen-

HEKATE - IPL
Custom NX Bootloader

it has also a loading line from left to right showing the logo like the above image and words then it goes blue screen

since it fell down, most likely it shutdown and they turn it on but I dont know if they press something from the hekate menu and choose the wrong icon and now its in blue screen

please help me

Been inactive since atmos 1.5.1 and fw 15.
Any specials happened since then, or just the normal update with AIO and daybreak or other solutions to get to 18.0.1?

Manually update don't use AIO.

Havent done that in ages(since fw 10.2) Any progs changed or new ones around to flash the fw then?
AIO seemed to a be good prog for just dl the files as long as you use daybreak to install em?
If your point is a "clean start" I get that doh.

The problem with AIO is that cause more problem than it fix, if you use AIO you are more likely to get an issue to cause the system to crash.

Some recent changes in Atmosphère to be aware of:

• If your console has prodinfo blanked, it may crash as soon as it attempts to connect to official servers.
  • Solutions:
    • either enable DNSmitm,
    • or restore prodinfo from a backup/disable prodinfo blanking.
• The Fusée that comes with Atmosphère will no longer load sigpatches.
  • Solutions:
    • boot with hekate fss0 method and/or use sys-patch module instead of just sigpatches,
    • or use a modified Fusée with that functionality re-enabled and keep using sigpatches.

(off the top of my head, excuse the lack of links)

These are some things AIO can't handle, you have to edit config files to adapt. That, or a clean start from an up-to-date, known-good config.

I tried drying my battery unti it turned off, its not working. its still in blue screen.

Manually update don't use AIO.

do not to forget to backup and delete your SDMC:/atmosphere/contents & SDMC:/atmosphere/titles FOLDERS.

enable DNSMiTM if you had blanked your prodinfo (incognito) RESTORE YOUR ORIGINAL PRODINFO before anything.

also delete the folders :

SDMC:/atmosphere/crash_reports
SDMC:/atmosphere/erpt_reports
SDMC:/atmosphere/fatal_reports


because the first time you load new Atmosphère that folders will emptied and that can take a lot of time so you think your console got frozen so avoid that false alarm deleting before.

Download manually from github HEKATE AND ATMOSPHERE, even if you think you have the latest one.

as far i can see there is no problem using that savegame.

DBI runs at USB 2.0; what am I doing wrong? This is what's in my system_settings.ini file at SD/atmosphere/config:

I personally never know why sometimes my VERY SAME SETUP, THE SAME CABLE, THE SAME PORT THE SAME CONSOLE showns USB2 and other times USB3, bit me!

This setup was 3.0 before I copy pasted everything over to a new SD card, lol. And it was DBI 658, same as now.

Tried rebooting it while connected to see if that would fix anything but it still says USB 2.0. The times are higher for installs compared to my old one despite both SD cards being the same speed [100MB/s in Hekate test].

Strange question is hekate still needed? When I set up my switch it set to "auto reboot" or something. So when i start with tegra it does not go into hekate, but jumps to atmos logo and starts with no problems.
But since its been a few years I have to ask if I still need to upgrade hekate.

Hekate is a replacement for bootloader, Atmosphère have their own (fusee.bin) but Hekate also have a Payload runtime environment called NYX and that is a POWERFULL tool, also recently Atmosphère remove some capabilities on his payload so, many people indeed do prefer Hekate for bootloader.

Do I need todo any changes to change back to hekate bootloader from atmos?

Also maybe bad questions, where is safe FW dl these days? I used to use AIO for that too, maybe thats safe and then daybreak? Or not use AIO for anything?

It has always been safe to overclock the Switch, Lite or otherwise. Whether or not its worth depends on you because unlike the normal Switch, the Lite can only be played in handheld mode which uses the battery. Overclocking will reduce the long term battery life so you personally have to weigh if the reduction in battery life is worth the extra stability and/or frame rate. As for overclock settings, that depends on the game(s).

Well if it was dropped and you're experiencing issues, then its most likely a hardware issue no? If you drop your computer on the floor and it starts showing the blue screen of death, that means you either need to repair it or get a new one. Same logic applies here.

If you are in Atmosphere with Hekate as your bootloader, you can use the in-system function of Restart to go back into Hekate. As for the safest firmware, the latest firmware is fine since its been several months since its release so all relevant homebrew have been updated already to support it. Plus in order to play the latest games, you need to be on higher firmware versions anyway so there's not much point in delaying the upgrade. I would however never ever use an AIO tool; they are always notoriously buggy and cause more issues than they fix. Stick to Daybreak.
