in the aroma retroarch the gamepad is used as port 1 and 2 and the pro control/or control paired by bloopai is read as port 3, this also only occurs in the aroma version, however, just go to input and change the gamepad on port 2 to the control you use that is paired after loading the game go to the retroarch menu with the game open and then you go to input and on port 3 put it to be used as a remap for port 2 which allows you to configure what each control will be 1 2 or 3 next Put it to save this configuration to the list so every time you go to that list everything will be configured according to what you did, unlike the aroma retroarch that works in the right order because it doesn't read the gamepad on two ports like the aroma does, however It's easy to solve.
so in summary :
go to input setting & change port 2 to wii u pro controller
launch a game
go to quick menu then control menu & change mapped port 3 to 2
save

ok ill try it

I have just tested this new Retroarch for Aroma (link WIP from @ploggy profile) and first I must say thank you soooo much! I works perfectly! Finally i don't depend on the vWii emulators.

I'm used to RA in other platforms and I miss here the Video Filters (at least the more basic ones like CRT or Scanlines)

- Is there a reason why are not included? Do you know if they work (copying from another RA)?

They should (if they are not too taxing on the CPU) so just copy them from anywhere else.

They are included? or they should be..

You can also use Overlays for a good CRT/Scanline effect :)

Try some aroma core... Thanks for who involved with this. My only try with mGBA sold by a crash, gpSP on the other hand seem to work well ifaik. But holy crap saves are not compatible though

Mgba attempt 2 lol
Try this one see if it works now.
yup this one does it !! Re crap my more advance save is on PSP
EDIT : save are cross compatible between gpSP and mGBA, just rename .srm tu .sav et viceversa.
And with aroma plugin system, you can go throught ftp and direct export/import saves from psp to wiiu and wiiu to psp and test while you are on RA
🤩

Hey @ploggy, so I've found an interesting bug with the Atari800 core, and I'm not sure if this is the Aroma coders or the original author of the core. This will take some explaining, so I will try to keep this simple. I have a ton of dumped floppies that I personally own that are formatted for a certain Atari custom BIOS. And they don't work with the stock BIOS. So I use a Atari program called mypdos, and it simply reads files on a floppy with an attached floppy drive. So usually if my floppies don't work on boot with a different BIOS, I can always pop the floppy into a emulated D2: and read the files, boot the game. Well, the problem is that the core can't find the SDcard. If you open up the internal emulator options once you start a game, go to Disk Management, and go to mount a floppy in D2:, the emulator is looking for the SDcard in sd:/, not in fs:/. And it leaves me unable to mount a floppy in a second drive to boot a game. So I'm not sure who to ask here. Is this a problem with the Aroma coders, or should I make a post on the Atari800 github? Or do I need to wait for the original release and be happy with what I already have? 😁 Thanks for your help man.

Hmm try this one, turns out I missed a "SD:/" path that was supposed to be changed to "fs:/vol/external01" :P
But if it still does the same thing then I haven't got a clue how to fix it lol

Damn, it didn't work 😕 It only still looks for "[sd]" when I try to load a floppy. Maybe I should make a post on the emulators github?
