Yes: The sigpatches module. Just copy it over from Tiramisu.am i missing any module?
That was it. Thank you!Yes: The sigpatches module. Just copy it over from Tiramisu.
Just pointing out, but there is a problem using your SigPatches plugin. Quick Start Menu won't boot some titles that needs signature patches, such as System Config Tool or Wii VC injects. While the Tiramisu Sigpatcher module works fine on Aroma I decided to write a new one specially designed for Aroma. So this time it's not a module but a plugin: https://github.com/V10lator/SigPlugin/releases
Did you remember, to put the sig-patches intoI have noticed that games downloaded via NUSspli doesn't run, i need to switch to Tiramisu if i want to play them.
I guess this is already known. If it is, is there a workaround, or am i missing any module?
SD://wiiu/environments/aroma/modules/setup
, too? Because I forgot to do so in Tiramisu (you need to put them in bot .../aroma/...
and .../tiramisu/...
if you want to use them in both cwfs).for me is not a problem anyomore because i can install my vc injects on a external hdd instead of using loadiinesadly not for now
If you wiiU has a pb and that is dead, your drive with 200 games is dead too, you have to restart from beginning ^^for me is not a problem anyomore because i can install my vc injects on a external hdd instead of using loadiine
There is none atm.Which cheat solution is compatible with Aroma and do you use?
there aren't any that I know of rn but amibo emulation is possible atmWhich cheat solution is compatible with Aroma and do you use?
I'm always jealous of the cheat solutions for 3DS and Switch. Wii is not bad either.
There are not that many (up to date) resources for getting into WiiU coding. The wut repository has some basic examples though. If you're interesting in plugin/module development for aroma, you can join the Aroma Discord, we a multiple development channels. Also, are there any beggining resources to get into WiiU coding/hb/etc.?
Do you think it would be possible to get elf files working via the HBL channel by removing the problematic modules from Aroma? I mean it's definitely something intentionally breaking them and/or stopping them from working, if we could figure out which modules are doing it we could just remove them to achieve the same effect.First off thank you so much for the work you’ve put into this to accomplish one of the greatest things to come. Also I have figured out how to use .elf files and rednand with aroma kinda. So what you do is install CBHC or the hbl channel first. If you installed cbhc uninstall it right after, but keep the channel as it’ll be there leftover. It’ll basically serve as imo a better hbl. Next if you want to use aroma set it to default auto boot like usual or let the installer menu pop up doesn’t matter. I prefer aroma autoboot holding x. Next when you want to use aroma and boot into aroma your .elf files and hbl channel will not work, but if you boot the installer exit the menu it’ll keep your patches and you can boot into hbl and use .elf or whatever you want as if you had cbhc or mocha enabled at boot. To use rednand youll have to use the CFW booter in the hbl since the payload version will try to boot but end up in a blackscreen. Don’t use mocha as it won’t ever launch rednand anymore as far as I can test, and disable the settings in mocha as I believe this causes a freeze upon exiting apps in both tiramisu and aroma. Hope this helps people as I’ve been stressed giving up rednand and .elf’s. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty good
Yeah the post that’s above this explains this quite well. Pretty much the only way to do that is use tiramisu with the removal of the hbl patch and use the hbl like you wish that’s the best bet or use the method I described to get both. I personally didn’t like using tiramisu over cbhc but aroma gives you so much more than any other CFW that it’s a must now imo. I am hoping more and more will be updated so everything will work perfectly like on cbhc.Do you think it would be possible to get elf files working via the HBL channel by removing the problematic modules from Aroma? I mean it's definitely something intentionally breaking them and/or stopping them from working, if we could figure out which modules are doing it we could just remove them to achieve the same effect.
I really wish someone would say soemthing about how he did it because I don't want Homebrew on the main menu of My Wii U. HBL works well and I'd like to keep using it.
Ok If we can't have elf Homebrew what about having a way to use HBL in order to access rpx Homebrew without having it on the Home screen. Would that work or did Maschell do something there (intentionally or unintentionally) to prevent use of Homebrew loaders that aren't on the System Menu.@Powerful even with removed HBL patch .elf homebrews won't run. You need to remove way more (the whole plugin and module system except the setup modules) which, well, gives you exactly what Tiramisu is.
//EDIT: Technical explaination: The module system occupies the RAM area .elf homebrews use, so you can't have both. The plugin system is dependant on the module system, so no way to have plugins without modules.
I'm really tired right now, so this explaination might not be 100% correct but should be close enough.
