My DSi has a problem that it turns off if I move it while it's in Sleep Mode. This only happens with DS games (not homebrew apps or DSiWare apps/games). I don't think it's a result of CFW because the same thing happens if I load a game cart through the DSi main menu. Forcing Sleep Mode Patch in TWiLight Menu++ Settings doesn't do anything. Any ideas on what's wrong? Is it a ribbon cable? I don't see why it would be that since the problem doesn't occur in homebrew apps or DSiWare. Please help as I bought this DSi off eBay and hope I haven't wasted money on a faulty console. Thanks.

Does it makes a "Sound" when it happens - Sleep Mode and then opening the DSi.
What happens when you turn the opened DSi on ? Both Screens ok ?
Did you maybe checked the Battery ? (Maybe it is a little "loosen")

Thanks for replying.
It doesn't make a "sound" when I open it.
Sometimes when I open it it turns off and sometimes if I shake it it turns off.
I haven't checked the battery but this problem only happens when running DS games so I'm not sure if thats the problem but I'll try it anyway.

Bad connections? removing a slot-1 card fires an interrupt (as in disconnecting the actual pins, the mechanical card-inserted sensor that debuted on the DSi is unrelated) and in standby mode, it indeed just turns it off

Haha Ryccardo just before you replied I was thinking it could be the game card because for some reason my game cards keep disconnecting when still inside (either fault with dsi or game card) but I don't mind since I get roms off my game cards anyway. It did indeed fix it, thanks for replying!
