Finished cleaning up my script, and I've started putting the script into the game. Putting one event file into the game (there are 105) takes me 4 or 5 minutes, though I'm sure I'll encounter a curve ball or two for some files, since there is more than just text in those files.

I've already done 43 of them out of 105, with three files out of those being worrisome, so I'll have to put them together manually, since they don't follow the pattern that my code uses to streamline the inserting process.

Are you planning beta release? So others can test in their ds card.
I can do most testing by myself without much trouble tbh, I'm pretty thorough.

If people really want to test out what I have so far though, I wouldn't be opposed to giving test patches to my supporters on https://ko-fi.com/traceytrace or something before the actual proper public release

I think waiting for the final should be fine.

Any issues can be touched upon after the completed version - It'll save Tracey time from constant uploading/ updating us on the game (Vs one single patch update after the finished version :).

Yep all the event files are in the game, though I still have to do some things that are outside the event files in terms of story (bits and pieces, nothing major)

I just played through all of the new century and guardian force arcs in english and everything worked perfect, with one catch:

There is a scene where Brad and Bit join the party in the new century arc, and for some reason the game freaks out when you accept Brad's offer to join. I'm 99% sure I know what the problem is and I'm only 10% sure how to fix it. I've gotta blindly do some hex editing to feel out what the game is doing at the point it crashes. If I try and try and try and still can't get it to work, I may leave that section (it's a TINY conversation) in Japanese so that the game plays nice

okay it's 6am now... I've been up all night trying to solve this problem and I've (sort of) solved it. I had to shorten the conversation so that the triggers for the yes/no popup were before a certain cutoff spot in the binary file. As a result, I had to literally remove some lines of dialogue

It especially pains me to have to remove some of Naomi's dialogue, especially when it's with Brad. Her and Brad are my favourite characters in New Century. This was necessary though to make the game not softlock (or not delay the project for god knows how long).

Exactly, sometimes things need to get shortened, even if it's just a little.

Zoids Saga 2/legacy is the place to be if you're a fan of New Century anyway, whereas Zoids Saga DS is moreso the one stop shop for Chaotic century and Genesis

I wish you the best of luck. Sorry I don't have the skill to assist. But im looking forward to the end product. I've been a huge zoids fan for almost twenty years now, so ill be popping in every now and again with hope.

I've been coding a lot.. working on a big breakthrough, hopefully it works! (if you look in the top right, you'll see I have a LOT LOT LOT LOT of VBA code for this project... and yes it's all for this one game

If by Zoids data you mean Zoid stats, Zi data, and part requirements, those are all done too already. Everything necessary for gameplay will be in the final build. The only things I'm not doing are the database entries (these things):

yes, im talking about the entries like pokedex thingy,but if you dont like translating it thats ok too u already did so much and we can just google it.

that's hundreds of pages of lines to translate and pointers to grab, so yeah, that's days of work, for something completely external to the actual game. I could do it, but I wouldn't do it for free
