Hey DSGameMaker, worlok. Shut the fuck up. I don't need your school girl bickering and I don't want to hear it. If I wanted to hear real drama I'll go watch Heroes on Monday (which I do). So shut up and bring your catfight full of hair pulling and slapping to somewhere I can't hear it.

...well, I was done anyway.

By the way without me (one of the main flamers in this thread) flaming the war will hopefully come to an end. Plus it seems he only started it to create a "mess", get the thread closed, and to stop the production.

On-topic: If this gets released I'll make a review on it.

Edit: Oh and dsgamemaker, not to start another war but I notice you're still reading the thread.

This project as it stands might actually get released. My PC though is having some tough situations therefore I'm having second thoughts.

And also: When/If this project gets released, anyone is allowed to post this game onto another forum, get screenshots, and put it on Youtube.
I would really appreciate a Review on it Worlok, thanks.

Thanks for reconsidering, I'll try to finish the game and make the review quickly once it's released.

Ah, yes

Well, I may make a advertisement for it on Youtube when/if it is released.

DSGameMaker had the dignity and rational to realize "Hey, this conversation is out of hand, I'll step away from it". Calling him an "asshole" really just proves you're kicking someone who doesn't want to fight back now. That's just asshole-ish.

how come whenever a good zelda fan game with loads of hours put into it is about to be released it always gets cancelled due to vague "private reasons"?

really dude, im happy if this thing will really pull trough but considering past experiences it's really hard not to be sceptical.

but just the same, good luck with completing it. i look forward to playing this.

Not to start an argument or anything but I'd just like to say my stance on this project is negative. From what I have seen this project does exist however I doubt it matches anyone's standards from all the hype. The reason my view of this is negative is due to the following things I have noticed;

1) http://dsgamemaker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2613
This is the original thread of the project, no where does it say he has been working on it for as long as he claims here, nor does he even say what he has completed or is waiting to do. The date the thread was created was Oct 12, so he has been working on it for almost a month.

2) If he truly had the game almost complete, the screen shots would have actual content of promised game rather than a glitchy sprite movement rom.

3) Again if the project was close to being as complete as he says it is, the beta rom would be displaying an actual engine and systems completed rather than a glitchy sprite movement test.

4) Judging from DSGameMaker's screen shot, I would assume the creator has very little knowledge of the hardware and or coding for such a simple sprite error. With that in mind the creator is not capable right now to get very far in such project.

Everything is just pointing down for me. Nov 20th I will be awaiting the legitimacy of this project to hopefully prove me wrong.

P.S
In case any one is wondering

Um...ok, but just so you know...THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO WAY FOR DSGAMEMAKER TO HAVE A SCREENSHOT! Unless he hacked into skull's computer...Plus he's probably not releasing a beta yet so no one flames it like crazy. *coughdsgamemakercough*

Off-topic: Your game looks nice...

To be honest, this was what I was thinking too. I highly doubt that in one month someone could create a full blown game from scratch. This reminds me a lot of the mario game that was being made and how the creator stated somethings and then all of the 12 year olds on this site began to make suggestion that would never work and after several weeks the only thing the guy had to show for was a bunch of banners and a beta that was a clone of the engine that was included. In the end, it was obvious he was full of it and he finally quit, giving reasons to make it sound like he had done something and that it wasn't his fault in the end. To bad that took like 100 pages.

I'd be happy for you to prove me wrong, but until a full release is released, I'm sure that I and many others will continue to doubt this.

yeah, this project has looked shady from the start especially when his computer "broke"
what difference would your pc breaking make if you claim it is already complete and ready for release on the 20th?

off topic: bass, i'm still looking forward to your zelda hb, it's looking great. soulanger's pissed off because i said i'll like it xD

I think the user should be grateful to me, because without my DS Game Maker, this entire game would not exist.

It's hard to work out why anyone here would insult me after I am responsible also for the creation of the work.

The real information is here:

FEBURARY 2008: I had and idea for a Zelda game. I called it Zelda- the Rod of Time. I would have a notepad and pencil to draw sketches and so on. I even dated my work so this isn't faulse.

JULY 2008: I had completed the game, in my notepad. I then started to work on with my PC. I sprited,
and drew backgrounds and so on.

JANURARY 2009: I had finished collecting resources from my game. I started to make it with Game Maker.

JUNE 2009: I then found out about flash carts and decided to port it to DS. I started with PAlib, and found it quite difficult so I found DS Game Maker and used that.

AUGUST 2008: I registered DSGM and started doing some REAL work.

NOVEMBER 2009: DS Game Maker updated to 4.0 and I had to convert loads of stuff.
The animation problem occurs for NO reason though, and I asked James to help. He found there was no solution and that was that, I had cancells

A FEW HOURS LATER: I wouldn't cancell it.

Hope that helps-
