I think the user should be grateful to me, because without my DS Game Maker, this entire game would not exist.

It's hard to work out why anyone here would insult me after I am responsible also for the creation of the work.

You're not responsible for the game existing. He was making it for the computer but AFTER he was done he decided to port it to the ds and use dsgamemaker. Plus we insult you because you lied, posted a fake screenshot, then getting desperate you used a screen from someone else's game. Tsk tsk.

On-topic: Thanks for the info skull.

The project is on for now, but there is a serious error! DS Game Maker updated and the game has to be converted. And the animation is all off due to a bug.

Could you "downgrade" to the older version of DS Game Maker? Maybe it will work then?

Why did you upgrade then? This time I don't think it's dsgamemaker's fault...

No, not the user DSGameMaker, the actual program.

Although I'm sure DSGameMaker broke into his house and sabotaged his project

But you're right that's also how he got the screenshot.

It will definately be released on the 20th sorry, because it's still not finish fully.. but I just need to finish the ending scene. And to everyone: Please remember this is a DS homebrew, not an official new Zelda.

NEWS: After Oracle of Past, I will be working on a whole new game called Unknown Waters and will be like Zelda.

This looks great so far, I'm really hyped for it. I haven't liked Zelda on the DS because of the stupid stylus controls and ugly 3d polygon graphics, but this looks beatiful. I can't wait for it. Skull, if you'd like I can make you cover art for it, I'm handy with photoshop. I made box art for the Zelda Molblin's Magic Spear homebrew a while ago, check it out: http://multiple-option.blogspot.com/2009/0...agic-spear.html

I was quite excited to see this topic, and think that it's a great idea! I look forward to playing it.

I will be glad to write a review of your game. I currently am the webmaster of http://www.ordonvillage.com/, a Zelda fan site, so you'll get some publicity. If you wanmt to send me a beta, great, if not, then I'll just wait.

However, if you've way overhyped this, or this is mostly a hoax, it'll be a dark day. But seriously, I'll be sad if it's a fake.

Alter

P.S. It's killing me that of's "O" in Oracle Of Hours is capitalized.

Have you given any thought to a name change as I suggested earlier? As I said, I don't mean to offend and I apologize if it comes off that way, but Oracle of Past makes no sense. For one, I assume you are not playing up the time travel bit in this one (as then we would just be playing Oracle of Ages). Also, the name doesn't call up the same emotions something like Oracle of Secrets would and it doesn't make as much sense in terms of the naming scheme. Oracle of Pasts would have to be the name for it to fit (but, as I said, that wouldn't make sense). I think you should put a little more thought into it and choose an overarching theme that fits for the name based on your game instead of just piggy-backing on the Oracle names (or at least choose a noun for the second half that fits your game AND the Oracle naming scheme).

As far as the actual game goes, I'm on Bass Ace Gold's side, to be perfectly honest, but I'm a huge Zelda fan and REALLY REALLY hope you prove my skepticism unfounded.

PS: @Bass Ace Gold: How's your project coming? I'm quite excited for that too.

EDIT: Or Oracle of Hours, whatever the name is currently, my points all still stand.

Actually, it was named "Mystical Seed of Courage". The other two Oracle games had a similar names at that time, as well, but it was tentatively name "Oracle of Secrets".

"Oracle of Hours" wouldn't have been a bad name for it. What happened was VGMaps.com created a large-scale hoax, where they had a beta copy of the game called Oracle of Hours.

You can read all about that here.(The game itself)
And here. (where "Oracle of Hours" name came from)

No problem!

By the way (to everyone), I started a forum here in hopes of obtaining all of the homebrew "things" that have to do with Zelda. Any others can be given to me here. I'll be more than happy to review them and link to the downloads/sites.

You mean a thread right?
