gotta ask a serious question.........

my DSi is firmware 1.4.1 (before SudokuHax memory explouit was patched)

AceKard has Alex Rider for icon

have Sudokuhax but not the newest final one...

should I update so I can get the freebie gem?

yes the Sudokuhax would still work. What is blocked with 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 is the ability to copy the save data from the sd card to the dsi memory so the hack could not be installed.

No way they'd abandon it, LoZ is their baby. They rarely cancel anything about it.
And the one time they did cancel a game, they put another fun game in it's place (Mystical Seed Of X=Oracle Of X)

The Oracles began as a remake of Zelda 1. Then they wanted to do three games, the Mystical Seeds. They decided that the third one would add too much complexity to the password system, so they dropped it and polished up the Oracles. It was simply an evolution/name-change, not a cancellation.

I don't know about the 3DS shop, or the DSi shop, but the Wii shop usually posts at 12pm Eastern. So look for it this afternoon.

12noon would make sense considering that Nintendo USA is in Redmond, WA, three hours behind East Coast time. They probably cut over at 9am local time.

Its now avail in north American e-shop / dsi shop downloading on my 3DS and DSiXL as im sure its going to look better on my XL so prob will play it on that .

So I hear the multiplayer is region locked. Just seems a bit of a dick move to me... even more so than region locking the games in the first place.
Sure most of the time you're likely to be with people in your own region seeing as it's not wi-fi, but if you had like, friends or family who have DSi/3DS's and this game in some other region and you go visit.. well sorry but Nintendo says you can't play.

Oh sure it's great it's free and all that and I like playing with my sister. I've not actually seen much hate..

But I just can't understand region locking multiplayer... I feel sorry for the people I have seen who do seem to be in a situation of having friends with other region DSi or 3DS for what ever reason. Also... I don't think something being free puts it above criticism.. I mean some stuff you shouldn't really complain about (Like length.. maybe lack of wi-fi..) but it doesn't mean you have to be all "This is great the best thing ever!!"

Edit: I suppose my system just got bricked. For an update. Hooray -_-

Well, it turns on fine. I'll trade it in for a 3DS I suppose.

Edit 2: I popped in Mario Kart DS. Works fine. What am I missing? Is my SD Card at fault? I just put on new software, did I mess up with AKAIO?

If your acekard is still showing Danny Phantom's face then that means that you are on an old firmware (not akaio). You will have to find a ds that works with your Acekard and update the firmware. When done it should show some Japanese game. Assuming that Nintendo didn't roll out a new firmware with this free game as a way to trick users with loader cards.

Edit: The current ACEKARD firmware supports DSi1.4.3. Can any one tell me the firmware that they have after accessing the store and downloading Zelda Four Swords

No, Akaio shows Danny Phantom with DSi v1.40. With an updated DSi, it will show Hello Kitty no Panda Sport Stadium DORASU.

Edit: I am running 1.4.3. I must have messed up the Akaio somehow. I don't know what I did wrong, I removed the one file and folder and put the new file and folder on. Do I have to format it every time?

Edit 2: Is this accurate? Before you update the DSi's firmware to 1.4.1, make sure the Acekard is displayed in the DSi's menu as Alex Rider - Stormride

Man, this game is pretty awesome. Me and my bro played it together today. The nostalgia of the extra levels is so nostalgic.

But... I do use an Acekard 2i, and as other have said, I was also using the "Danny Phantom" firmware on my DSI XL. I figured I would update the firmware on my DSI (After seeing the update disabled the cart), but I went back and forth on that. Used the wrong firmware, then I used the one that turned it into DORASU.

This is where my real problems started. Starting up the DS presents the DORASU game, but brings up white screens. I thought I bricked something here, but the thing still runs on my DS Phat, so I am wandering what firmware should I go about to update it to my DSi 1.4.3?

I may go to the Acekard Section to figure this out, but I'm just throwing this out here for now...

Edit: This is my HW44 Card. Seems there is no 1.4.3 update for it still, so if your using HW81, then go ahead and go for it. Just be sure to be patched to 1.4.3

Edit: My patched HW81 Card isn't working on my DSi. Hmm... (Appears I didn't really upgrade it to the newest Firmware. smh)
