I'll probably be one of the few weirdos playing Kirby's Dreamland 3 first, but I already have an original SNES set up, and that's one of the few cartridges I don't own among this initial line-up.
Nice it's not weird all those games are worthy of a vote

I agree. Also, when you lauch a new ap just to try it. You might not want to start a time consuming game as Zelda or Super Metroid.

I get what yr saying mayb users should giv a reason why they picked tht game first like Xzi did but being as nintendo online is cheap thers no reason not to play a time consuming game first

Yeah I opened SMW first purely because I'm familiar with it and you can get into the game fast. More to evaluate the emulator than actually play anything, because I quit after the yellow button palace.

Then I tried Breath of Fire and immediately missed the GBA version after three fleas pounded me to death.

Surprised how high up Mario Kart is, has to be the worst game in the series by far, and looks terribly small in handheld mode.

It was puyo puyo because I wasn't sure what it was at first. I wonder why they just didn't release tetris attack

You cannot be serious it plays and looks just like it did way back in 1992-and the balloon battle game unique at the time I guarantee many users here put loads of hours into tht and still today a blast to play

I'd say bit pointless having two similar puzzle games in the 20 and I've never tried puyo puyo but I'll giv it a go those matching puzzle games unique at the time

I went with Super Puyo Puyo Tsu because I'm an avid fan of Puyo Puyo, and seeing the game be playable on Switch before the Sega AGES re-release already made me want to get right in

You haven't actually expressed any disagreement?

Yeah it looks and plays like 1992 and we've had years of better Mario Karts since. Even the GBA version does the mode 7 style better. The SNES original is outdated in a way that Super Mario World is not. Though I guess people can still have fun with it.

Were you around back in the day of 92 if not then you really can't comment how unique tht game was - course Mario kart games get better as tech improves - I'm playing it right now and feels great with the joycons - unbelievable how you can moan about any game of the series no matter how old it is

Super Mario World. I was curious if Nintendo put enough effort to put the Super Mario All Stars + World changes to it, and to see if Luigi actually looked like Luigi.

Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

and nvidia is already doing ARM

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
