You got your Portal in my Minecraft!

Copyboy’s been working on a crazy sweet mod for Minecraft Classic, with a custom server with actual working portals and textures based on work by Cosine.

And here’s the forum thread about it!

Unfortunately, it’s a bit tricky to get the custom textures installed, but this mod has convinced me that I need to add the ability for servers to download a custom texture pack to the client in Minecraft.

I’ve played it for a bit, and I’ve watched ez play it for even longer, and I love it.

Haha i'm glad too. And yes. I'm completely hooked. I'll sit down from 5 minutes to 2 hours at a time in Survival and just mine and build. It's... relaxing.

Well, it just popped up on Notch's radar, and therefore he put it in his blog, and i'm lots of people were unaware of this
