I got that part, but the client i used wanted a host name, password etc and idk what to do. Does filezilla require all that bs? If not, i guess ill get that and do ftp via pc. Thanks for the reply btw.

I did this also, and I added the package manager via adding it to the database just for the fun of it (although it does not launch as 3.20 or below is needed for that)

The slim is better in almost every inconceivable way, except for the screen (the original has an OLED screen which some prefer to the LED of the slim). It has better battery life and it's much thinner and lighter.

As to where you can find it the cheapest, there's not really a particular place. Just shop around, or check eBay/Craigslist for cheaper used vitas.

really, you get the slim version or the old one and there is no real improvement about the slim one, I mean, there is no hardware improvement like more ram or cpu boost speed, you get the slimmer design but you lost the OLED screen which non in their healthy mind will prefer LCD over OLED.

I don't think it makes sense to buy it only for homebrew.
But there are a couple off good games (and a lot of rather strange japanese stuff. As in really wired *looking to criminal girls*).

I don't know about buying a vita for this but.. get the "fat" model because they have MUCH MUCH MUCH better screens. If you're gonna buy one I'd recommend second hand at a shop or taking an ebay trip. I've seen them as low as 100 dollars... lower then the psp go.

I can say with confidence it's probably the nicest looking screen I've ever seen on a portable. It just has the crappy proprietary charging port. The memory cards are expensive so be ready for that~

Yeah, Sony can go screw themselves on that (memory card) front. I'm going to call them and complain about it if I buy one. Might get a discount, but at least I'll be able to rant to someone ;)

To be honest if you want cheap systems, buy theme early, once everyone find out about exploits, they will try to start selling them at higher prices knowing someone wants them and forcing them to pay more than the market sales price which is bad. You remember what happened with freaky hax don't you? Don't buy stuff for sole purpose of exploits, i bought 3ds and ocarina of time cause i liked it and wanted to play it ealier than before any exploits were made. So i got lucky.

Just buy games you want or like best. chances are popular games may be potential for exploits and you will already have the tool needed and not need to worry about overpriced buying. :)

I hope this exploit gets backported, I'm on 3.18 and I do not want to lose my ps1 loader or psp exploit game.

Edit : They freed up more ram in later updates, I suddenly realize that it probably won't happen.. haha.

I'm not sure if it's considered a mini, but I'm re-using Talkman Travel Tokyo as my VHBL. (20MB)

I have both Slim and OLED vitas, and the OLED is by far better one!
Slim looks like some cheap knockoff :(
And the screen quality is incomparable, OLED is much much vibrant and better looking.
Battery is better on slim, but only last abou na 1h more.

This is the art of OLED on Vita, black spot issue when playing in the dark.
