Essentially, my problem is that I cannot get browserhax to work. As I already stated my problem there and VerseHell recommended me this thread I will just copy the two replies I put out on the same thread, maybe some of you folks can help me :)

so I have got a problem. I did everything until step 6. But at step 7 I cannot get browserhax to work. I did exactly as told in the linked TUT for setting up browserhax, but everytime I open my browser for the second time (so right after scanning the QR Code, quitting the browser and enabling WiFi), the browser does not load the HBL :(
It gives me the Error Code 032-1006. I deleted my cookies and my system cache. Didnt help.
I have a Ver. 9.00-20E N3DS XL.
My Internet Browser has the Version No. 1.0.9934

Can please somenone help me? Any help would be much appreciated :)

Ok so I tried to look what the cause was and I read somewhere that I need something called a payload (which the browserhax shoudl normally install by itself for the New 3DS models). So I entered my firmware version on this site http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ , downloaded the given payload, changed its name to browserhax_hblauncher_payload.bin and put it in my microSD root. Then I downloaded the starter kit from the same page and put its contents (besides the boot.3dsx) in the 3ds folder of my microSD card. Then I tried running the hack again. No luck still the same error code :(
Am I missing something?

Any help whatsoever is much appreciated

About error code 032-1006: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997614-nintendo-3ds/70904978... Are you sure your internet connection is working full on your console?

Yes I am able to visit other sites with the browser. I even get the annoying update nag , so my system should have a working online connection....could it be that because I have set up two different internet settings (one setting connects directly to our modem while the other connects to the router) something goes wrong? idk

Damn son are you a wizard? I just deleted one of my internet settings so I got only one connection and it wrked right away. THx a lot :)

Just tried what Dohald has done and it works! Deleting your internet connections until there's one left should be put in the OP in case someone can't get it working.

Now onto putting Themehax.

-EDIT- Also, firmware version is 9.5.0-22E, so that's confirmed working.

Aliuros oooh I get it but still it's a good idea that you inspired.
I forgot what your tag is but the guy with the little brother: don't worry about it I just would like to know how I could maybe contact yellows.
Otherwise, I haven't tried the updated browserhax but wish me luck!

Nope! And if you ask why, then because is necessary a kerxploit, and this exploit and consoles with FW 9.2 and above doesn't have!

Only option for you is to do a hard-mod!

well, i have no soldering skill.. but thanx anyway, i'll learn how to solder some stuffs first lol :D
 
I hate browserhax so much. I tried that whole connections thing, deleting them. I tried having every app on my 3ds suspended. Overall, does it work? It nintendont.

You actually don't have any app suspended to do it. Old or New?

This thread is confusing. There are two exploits, one for old and new 3ds. The new 3ds hax (stagefright) is pretty easy to get working but the old 3ds (sliderhax) is tricky as hell and isn't even mentioned in the OP.

There should be another thread for sliderhax and the title of this thread changed to [browserhax] stagefright or something.

It's a very inexact science and yes it is hard to do it just right. :P
After trying all sorts of things the best I could do is about 50% boot rate.

It'd be nice to have a separate thread so people could trade theories about how to improve success without crudding up this thread.
