Hacking xzxero 4.2 guide, got to preloader and error got boot unable to read t

hi im upgrading a wii what had softmii on it
im using the 4.2 guide in the stickies
iv got to the part where you install preloader 0.30
and keep getting an error ,got boot unable to read ticket
i read that if you install preloader 0.29 then upgrade to 0.30
but im unsure how to install 0.29 and where to put it on the sd card

download 0.29, install it and it will ask to update. accept and you will have 0.30

add preloader in apps folder, go to hbc and run it, keep pressing 1 til it lets you in preloader 0.29, remember make sure the file for preloader is boot.dol so it can show up in hbc

just 1 last thing if anyone can help
i put neogama R8 beta 15 in apps folder and i can run it no problems through homebrew channel
but is there a way to install it to the wii so i dont have to have the sd card in all the time
and also run it from a channel?

There should be a channel floating around the internet somewhere, but it won't be the most updated version. You'll have to do a google search for it. Then, put it in the "wad" folder on the root of your sd and install it with wad manager.

is it just a channel i put in wad the folder and install with wad manager?
