Whenever I use the 60fps mod, the element symbol at the bottom right continuously gets larger as it flashes. In many fights it'll get so large that the flashes cover the entire screen.

I've tried toggling between Vulkan/OpenGL, resolution, RAM, Limit Speed Percent, and various other graphics settings but the only thing that stops this from happening is just turning off the 60fps mod. I normally use Yuzu and tried a fresh Ryujinx install and the same issue happened.

I've found next to nothing about this while searching online so if anyone has any solutions that would really be appreciated.

Specs: i7-13700KF and a GTX 1660 Ti
oh holy crap, thank you so much, disabling that mod fixed it.

Someone has an fps mod for 60fps cutscenes? Not worried about any issues, i just wanted to watch some cutscenes on 60fps but I can't find a single old 60fps mod

That's because Noone figured out how to run cinematic cutscenes at 60 FPS in XC2 at correct speed. All of them are tied to framerate, so you get 2x faster cutscenes at 60 FPS. Only way to get them currently is interpolation (via emulator or prerecorded cutscenes).

makes sense why I couldn't find any, thank you

I think I found the reason why the audio in the 60fps cutscenes is out of sync, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to fix it. During cutscenes, poor system optimization causes a drop in FPS, so the visuals and audio don’t match the forced 30fps setting. If possible, please try to adjust it so that gameplay runs at 60fps, and for cutscenes, don’t specifically set it to 30fps—just keep the original FPS. Thanks~

I found this pre-configured version of the Xenoblade 2 mod online, called "AA & Awful Filter Killer + Better Graphic Settings". It can de downloaded here:

zippyshare.day/kYBBBSiE8BQfMZF/file

It used to work with Ryubing 1.3.1, but since 1.3.2 (and the Canary releases) it's broken. Xenoblade 2 will crash giving this error:

Unhandled exception caught: Ryujinx.HLE.Exceptions.GuestBrokeExecutionException: The guest program broke execution!

It also still works on the latest Kenji-NX, as well as all of the yuzu forks that are still around.

Does anyone know what's going on here? I would love to continue using Ryubing, but this graphics mod for Xenoblade 2 is a must have for me.

Any help please?

how to get it's working? i follow the instructions romfs\monolib\shader and run the game, but crashed everytime
i am at version 2.1.0

For users of the Yuzu PC emulator. This guide allows user to completely disable resolution downscaling in the game, which improves the quality of the visuals a lot. This is needed even if Yuzu is set to higher resolution scaling (like 2x, 3x, etc.) due to specific quirks associated with this particular game, otherwise ingame resolution will be lower than the emulator indicates. Note that in fixing the resolution of the game to be a proper higher value, this method has higher system requirements requiring a good CPU and good GPU.

Please refer to my post #374 on the last page which has the best configuration settings for PC emulation at 2x resolution setting (1440p). That post was written for Ryujinx, however for Yuzu the only difference is where the configuration files go. Read below.

STEP 1.
Go to first page and first post of this thread. Download Next Method. Open Xenoblade2Base.zip. Inside open Raw Image folder. Then open Max 720p folder. Look inside here for the files called: D007651BC7C6A51ED7E8F463E02AC2EF.ips and lib_nx.ini
Somewhere on your computer, create a folder called XB2Temp.
Inside create these various sub-folders and copy the files there:
XB2Temp\exefs\Xenoblade2Graphics\D007651BC7C6A51ED7E8F463E02AC2EF.ips
XB2Temp\romfs\monolib\shader\lib_nx.ini
XB2Temp\romfs\stream\dumpini\lib_nx.ini

STEP 2.
Open the files lib_nx.ini (for example with Windows Notepad program) and completely replace the text there with the configuration settings I have in post #374.

STEP 3.
Create a fresh local installation of Yuzu.
To do this, download a new copy of Yuzu, extract it to a folder, then inside the Yuzu folder manually create a folder called:
user
After that, start Yuzu for the first time, and start Xenoblade 2 with DLCs installed, until you reach the title screen. Then, quit the game.

STEP 4.
Now in the Yuzu installation folder it will have automatically created for you these sub-folders:
user\sdmc\atmosphere\contents
Inside this contents sub-folder you will see a bunch of folders with a bunch of numbers, each number is the ID of either the base game or one of the DLCs. For example one folder could be something like this: user\sdmc\atmosphere\contents\0100E95004039004 could be one of the numbered folders among various

The exact folder numbers will vary and only some folders will work. So what you do is, copy+paste the contents from inside XB2Temp into one of those numbered folders (don't copy XB2Temp itself, only copy the stuff inside it).

Repeat this process, copying the contents from inside XB2Temp to all the numbered folders.

When that is done and you start the game again, it should have increased clarity because it will be actually rendering at HD resolution properly (no more downscaling) and without unnecessary blurring effects (except TMAA which remains engaged to reduce aggressive pixelation). Make sure emulator is running in docked configuration. I recommend 2x resolution graphics setting.
Hi everyone, regarding xenoblade 2 I followed the post here I use yuzu with your explanation I managed to optimize it very well at 4x it almost always runs at 30 fps excellent guide

Hello everyone, I tried to use this mod to improve the visuals in xenoblade chronicles 2. Im using the "next method" and I dropped the folders into what I believe are the correct folders and I renamed titles to contents. However it seems this is causing atmosphere to crash when injecting fusee.bin.

Can anyone help identify what I did wrong?

Unrelated, those files are not loaded until you boot game.
Apologies I got my switch on now, it seems this was an unrelated error with atmosphere.

However @masagrator I cannot open xenoblade 2 now as it gives a corrupted data error. I am on Ver 2.0.2

Additional information: I am using the max 540p raw files (I do not have an overclock on my switch)

Corrupted data error is also unrelated. Either you would get fatal screen if IPS file is malformed, or game crash if romfs files are malformed.

Edit: finally worked!!!
It was in eden data folder/sdmc/atmosphere/contents/(renamed the downloaded mod config folder name to one of the dlc folders similar to the instruction)

Thank you for this awesome mod!!!!

Hello!
I am using eden emulator on android, and trying to install the mod using new method, But I can't figure it out
My game version is 2.1.0
All dlc except torna installed
How do I use this mod using eden?
I try to import this mod using eden like the dynamic fps mod but it Doesn't change anything at all
The dynamic fps mod seems to work fine
But this one is not detected by the game
I would be extremely grateful if someone gave me step by step instruction on how to use it.
