See that setting "Enable Reactive Flushing"? Disable it and try again. It affects lighting but I couldn't tell what it changed. Check post #570 for more info about it.

I'll give it a shot, thanks.

Also, I've noticed rarely there will be some vertex explosions or massively blinding bloom/lighting? When leaving a menu or a cutscene transition.

Yep it happens once every 10 hours or so. For the lighting I either restart the emu or switch to night time. Vertex explosions go away with some camera movement. Setting GPU accuracy to extreme could help. Worked for me in terms of fog flickering.

I apologize if this was asked before, but does anyone else get these issues with cutscenes? Is this emulator problem or is there something in settings?

Does anyone know how to stop this from happening in Sudachi (it did it in Citron too) it's infuriatingly obnoxious when the daytime bloom magically dials up to 1000% and I have to change the time to night to get rid of it

Don't know if it helps, but changing GPU accuracy to a notch higher might do something. Otherwise restarting the emulator in addition to turning to night time helps.

Sorry for the necro.
I got XC2 full DLC (include Torna...) 2.1.0 and I just want to have 60 FPS.

I tried lot of files with "0100E95004038000" or "0100E95004039001" but nothing works on Sudachi emulator

Could any good souls here help me a definitive 60 FPS mod?
Thank you

Can someone play spare my sanity, I've tried the INI hack (believe it's in right place) on Sudachi along with the 60fps mod but my game still looks like Vangogh threw up on it. Did I miss something else since this thread is pretty girthy? Tried switching between 1x and 2x scale, turning of FSR for Bicubic and a few other experiments but nothing seems to have any effect. I'm guessing this is the dynamic resolution going haywire but the INI should be preventing that, no?

Comment from last page had mentioned it, get Lossless Scaling from Steam. It works really damn well.

The default location to put it is something like this "...\AppData\Roaming\sudachi\sdmc\atmosphere\contents\0100F3400332D001\romfs\monolib\shader"

For anyone on emulation bothered by 60fps audio de-sync: Using software Lossless Scaling frame gen does wonders.

Turning off the dynamic fps mod and using frame gen instead will solve the audio-desync issue and you'll also get 60fps cutscenes! This solution will work fine for 30fps games like XC2 where additional input latency won't affect the gameplay experience. There's also some minor motion artifacts however the benefits outweigh the cost by a lot.

Steps:
-Monitor refresh set to 60hz
-Acquire Lossless Scaling and set Frame Gen to 3.0, Mode to X2, and Capture API to DXGI
-Make sure vsync is off in the emulator
-If not using g-sync, go to nvidia control panel->manage 3D settings->XC2 emulator->vsync option = adaptive half refresh

Once in-game full-screen, toggle frame gen with Ctrl+Alt+S

Hope this helps someone!
Wonderful! Do you know a way to reduce input l;ag?

Thanks.

Yes - use true 60 FPS mod and not some fake frame generator. Nature of tools like those is it increases input lag relative to original FPS (so 60 FPS with Lossless Scaling has WORSE input lag than 30 FPS without it). And it's physically impossible to omit that without stuff like input prediction which requires more extensive integration with game akin to Nvidia Reflex.

Thank you for you reply.

I used 60 FPS mod of you (no Lossless Scaling) >> but the game often drop to 45-55-60 (I'm using 7900XT). Truly, FPS stutter is very annoying.

So could you please make a mod for 45 FPS? I think it will be sweet spot for emulator which is stable and no stutter.

Thank you so much!!!

I have been trying to mod this game for a while, and I am having issues with constant fps slowdowns, which freeze the game and make it pretty annoying to play(constant dips to 20-24 fps cause the game to freeze instead of skipping frames). Last time I tried playing this game was a year ago, and I got about 30 hours in. I currently have the 1440p ini file, am running on vulkan on both yuzu and ryujinx. They both suffer from pretty bad frame drops with or without the dynfps mod as well. I had no problems running xenoblade 3 on similar settings and my gpu is only at like 70% usage in towns and stuff. Is it just a shader thing or is there something else that could help the fps?

My PC specs :
Ryzen 9 5900x
32gb Ram 3600mhz
6700xt
running on nvme ssd

Smae here.
XC1 and XC3 are very stable.
But XC2 get stutter that very annoying and makes the game nearly un-playable with me.

Has someone managed to make the lib_nx.ini mod work on Linux ? I can't do it for the life of me :/
Tried on Yuzu, Ryujinx and now Eden and it's not just applying.
