Can any one advise me on information on this modd.

i want to know how likely the first release for the wii will be compatible with newer wiis (the d2c type)?

or is it more than likely ill have to wait for the version after this release, to be able to install on D2c ?

Any help would be great

I answered your question honestly. Nobody can predict the future. This is the same kind of question as asking "does anybody know when we'll get a Wii Homebrew modchip?" No!!! nobody knows!!!!!

I know you never asked about homebrew. I'm just saying that you're asking the same level of question. Does anybody know if the first release will be compatible with D2C? No. Nobody knows. Nobody can predict the future.

You're looking at the wrong chip dumb fuck! It's the one above it.

It's impossible to see what it says on the chip, but most likely D2B.

Once again, D2C doesn't exist. Some french anonymous forum troll must've photoshopped it or we'd've seen hundreds of thousands of D2C chips by now. It's been months since that french guy's so called proof.

There's loads of speculation that they're only saying that to hype up a chip that otherwise would have absolutely no place in the market considering it would be exactly the same or inferior cheaper alternatives (Wiinja Deluxe, YAOSM, WiiFree, WiiKey clones).

I just saw a site selling the WiiKey that listed compatibility with D2C, does that mean that they're lying? Yes. Or they just don't know what they're talking about.

People often FALSELY refer to the D2B with cut legs as the D2C. There is no such thing as a D2C chip.
There is: D2A, D2B, and one other chip, i think. But it's not D2C.

Are you people not informed or just hard-headed? There are five types of Wiis. Four are moddable. The latter is not. DMS, D2A, D2B, D2B with cut legs and D2C. D2C does exist. They are starting to appear in Europe now although I have only heard of a case from the Netherlands.

You are correct about the DMS, D2A, D2B, D2B-cut. However, aside from those few pictures there has been no independent confirmation widespread about the existence of D2C like there has been with D2B cut. If you remember when D2B first reared it's ugly head (back in late February or so iirc) there were rumors for only about a week, then everybody knew it was for real because reports were coming from all over the place. D2C has been rumored for over a month but not confirmed.

I doubt people are making this whole D2C thing up for attention or whatever they are trying to obtain.
