XBox ONe apps-possible with the dev mode!

We see a lot of new emulators right now in GBA and other websites for N64, SNES, GBA, PSP and etc.

however, Dev mode does not allow our usual xb1 apps. You have to leave it every time you want to enjoy Ori or even Youtube.

Therefore, I tried some .appxbundle files in the dev mode I downloaded from various websites, and vala; it worked.

The websites we used are
https://github.com/MrGrak/DungeonRun
https://windowsmobapps.wordpress.com/category/appx-appxbundle-download-center/

http://windowsstoreappx.blogspot.co.id/

the windows 10 store with urlsnooper 2 (tnx @dominater01 )

this pages have some apps for windows 10 or windows phones.

We tried apps from these pages and these run in the xbox one developer mode.

ACG player
Shiye Browser
CCPLayer 2016
Nitro Nation (tnx @godzeroxx )
awesome tube (tnx @dominater01 )
jack and jill (tnx @dominater01 )
Altos Adventure
Pirates of Everseas (tnx @godzeroxx )
Disney Emoji Blitz (tnx @godzeroxx )
Alpine Ski III (tnx @godzeroxx )
Orcwar RTS (tnx @godzeroxx )
Kings guard TD (tnx @godzeroxx )
Theft Inc. Stealth Thief Game (tnx @godzeroxx )
Boltstorm (tnx @godzeroxx )
jack n' jill 3d (tnx @dominater01 )
squareboy vs bullies (tnx @dominater01 )
Dungeon Run - (tnx @wiired24 )
AwesomeTube 4.1.187.0 UWP
Occupation VR 1.0.5.0 UWP
Theft Inc.
Parma Video Player 2.2.132

If you have a depository webpage for such apps, please post it here and I am gonna put them in the 1st page.

If there is a way to convert all those xap, appx packages in the microsoft store or in other pages into xbox one version, then I guess I will never go back to retail mode.

Emulation is one thing; but the apps and PC software is completely another thing. Think about possibility of Kodi, Android emulation, various internet explorers, and many others on your XB1,

All we need is small software-apps that are already in business emulating all those consoles and running all these apps AND compile them so that they can work in dev mode in xbox one!

This should not be rocket science. This should not take 4 years to crack.

PS: There was a link here but I removed it since it happened to be a scam (i didnt know)..

We see a lot of new emulators right now in GBA and other websites for N64, SNES, GBA, PSP and etc.
But there is a problem with the Dev Mode; you cannot bring your usual apps and games to the dev mode. You have to leave it every time you want to enjoy Ori or even Youtube.
Therefore, I tried some .appxbundle files in the dev mode I downloaded from various websites, and vala; it worked.
For example;
https://windowsmobapps.wordpress.com/category/appx-appxbundle-download-center/
this page has some apps for windows 10 or windows phones. I am not familiar with them.
Since my son needs youtube and a video player for cartoons, I found this link and downloaded the app in the link;
https://userscloud.com/6dlbmx4y33gy
and incredibly CC player pro 17 was up and running in the dev mode, together with the emulators.
However, I couldnot find a reliable youtube app. I tried awesometube and perfecttube from the same page but they either do not load, or do not work effectively.
When the apps do not load, they give some errors. Generally it is about;
1- the package is not an .appx
2- the package is not an x64 built
3- the environment of the computer (i guess it means xbox one) is not updated enough
etc.

If there is a way to convert all those cracked or free online xap, appx packages in the microsoft store or in other pages into xbox one version, then I guess I will never go back to retail mode. Because I am definitely sure there will be apps allowing us to play .iso files of different consoles.

So; this topic is not definitely a how-to topic. It is more like how-it-should-be-done.
We dont need to go in complex software modding efforts anymore.
All we need is small software-apps that are already in business emulating all those consoles and running all these apps AND compile them so that they can work in dev mode in xbox one!

PS: http://xboxoneemulator.org/ offers an app for xb1 emulation.
This... oh my gosh this... is so damn fake, first, xb1 emulation, it isnt real guys, second, fishy wordpress link, 3rd NEWLY MADE GBATEMP ACCOUNT and 4th no screenies for proof

This: http://xboxoneemulator.org/
Its at the bottom of his post
They say that they have an XB1 emu for pc

EDIT: also,

That kinda sounds like a tutorial or how you should do it as he describes it

I am sorry about the latest link in the post.
I mean this link:
http://xboxoneemulator.org/
I really dont know those guys, I just thought it is doable. I really dont know if they are hackers or smtg. Yet, there are others who claim they can run XB1 apps in a PC.
and the wordpress page;
https://windowsmobapps.wordpress.com/category/appx-appxbundle-download-center/
I really downloaded apps in this page; tried more than dozens of them.
And I am tired of switching between dev and retail mode.

I never lie. These are the screens from the webpage. I lastly tried a game but as I am telling you, it gives different errors.
like this one:

"Installation Progress
Failure reason: Unable to install bundle file:///D:/DevelopmentFiles/WdpTempWebFolder/UPDF6A6.tmp/BoW.appxbundle because it does not have an appropriate application package for x64 architecture.. Failure text: Package was not found. (0x80073cf1)"
I am not a pro;
but as as I understand,
1- the apps in the xbox one dev mode should have a .appx or .appxbundle extension.
2- .xap extension is not acceptable even though it is OK for windows environments.
3- the apps should have a x64 architecture; not an ARM or x86

And I am telling you that conversion between those files should be easy.
If we can find a way to convert them into working XB1 files, then suddenly we will have thousands of apps in the microsoft stores without any hacking or any other efforts.

If you didnt like the repository page of the appxs, you are very welcome to publish a more reliable one.
It is not about the webpages, I dont know other app resources for appx-appxbundle files.

There is a great opportunity to turn the whole microsoft store into a free appstore for XB1. This is the important thing here.

I dont think it is pirating.
Microsoft has an appstore. This appstore is not available in the dev mode of xb1.
I just wanna find a way to make all those apps available for the dev mode as well.

maybe, just maybe, It can lead to other outcomes where people utilize normal PC software available for the dev mode, as well.
But this forum has a topic on which pirated N64 or PSP rom can work more efficient than the others in xb1, right?

that doesnt mean there pirated, plus i was talking about the windoes store apps not roms for emulators

There is the concept of running games you only own, a spreadsheet doesnt have anything with piracy

Exactly; That was my intention in the 1st post when I mentioned isos.

But the problem we should focus on is not this. Emulators are just one side of the story. The real gold mine is the appstore.

I am not into programming, but I am definitely sure that there is just a couple of hours of work between thousands of windows 10 apps and your xb1s.

If you own the game then feel free to have hundereds of isos of it, but if you dont own it, then GTFO

There isn't much work at all. Go look up how to rip .appx files from the Windows Store. You can hijack the download and get the actual appx. So long as the app is truly part of the UWP program, and not a desktop conversion, you should be able to install it on the Xbox One. If it is UWP, but you still can't install it, you need to unpack the .appx and modify the App Manifest then repack. Also make sure you install the correct dependencies where needed.
