Holographic discs ?

It was first developed by a short list of corporations, including Nintendo.
It's now a bigger "forum", including Sony and Apple... but not Microsoft?

Of course they don't require to be part of the forum to use it, but I thought they would participate to the forum to add their own features idea to the format.

About the 6TB of data ...
Yeah for 5.9TB of super ultra HD videos with 5H of boring gameplay
I miss a little the SNES era, where developers cared to make stories and good graphics, not graphics only.

Hopefully some developers still care about the players.
We all know they will not be reaching 6TB for a LONG time.
Anyone remember SDXC? It's supposed to be able to go up to 2TB, but the lowest SDXC cost hundreds, for just 64GB.

I don't see how a fully integrated Kinect could even work. I mean, you'd have to set the console directly under, in front of, or on top of their television... and very few people do that.

It'd probably come like the Wii sensor bar and you put the Kinect-type device on top of your TV.

I'm betting on late 2012 or early 2013. Even with Halo 4 coming out, I can see them releasing it as both a 360 title and a next xbox launch title, sort of like what Nintendo did with Twilight Princess.

I doubt it. My brother had a Xbox 360 for a while but only played Halo 2 on it for the longest time, until Halo 3 came out of course. Odds are people will still be playing Halo Reach until Halo 4 comes out.

That's not exactly intergrated though, that's almost exactly like the 360 version.
I hope the NextBox has a lot of features that Windows can do, such as a fully supported Internet browser, free apps and dont have to rely on kinect, I don't like the idea of waving to my TV all the time.

I fully agree.
90% of today's games is either completely multi player based or straight shit shovel ware.

The SNES had a shit ton of shovelware made for a quick buck, stories more complex than "Defeat the enemies for reason x" weren't all that common, and graphics were still heavily focused on (It's one of the many reasons that Earthbound flopped upon its initial release in the US).

Now, you can argue over whether or not the extent of these problems has increased, but they certainly aren't modern developments.

I agree with the shovelwares and graphics, but developers seems to care a little more on the story and "playable" game length for RPGs (yeah, I only compared it to RPGs :creep: I know this is a limited view).

Although nowadays we have 100+ hour RPGs like Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Skyrim and complex/deep stories like Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins (let's no talk about DA2...).

Thought I'd throw something else into the rumor mill. The new Kinect will apparently be so accurate that it can read lips.

I don't see myself ever getting Microsoft's next console.

I don't play online games, FPS's, and like when there's something majorly new.

I just see it being a 360, with a better online system and better graphics. I could be completely wrong, but chances are won't get it.

1 Thing i would like Microsoft to consider (and game devs)... If you dont have or use Gold for Multiplayer that they would create an alternative Achievements you could unlock so you could get a full 1000/1200 points. i got so many games incomplete because i dont play online much or at all
