I'd like a Genesis Plus GX forwarder channel without Sonic (or Tail) character at all

Hello,

Anybody know what the code is for the usbloader channel to add to the configurable usb loader params to have it return to the cover selection instead of the main wii menu when using the home button?

Thanks,

Marc Cramer

1. 3TB Western Digital Harddisk
2. Split up into 2 partitions (1TB + remaining TB's)
3. The USB Loader CFG is on the 1TB partition in the apps folder
4. UUSBLoaderCFG - UCXF - IOS58 v11b Stripes installed in Wii Menu
5. Start USB Loader CFG with forwarder from Wii Menu -> black screen
6. When I start USB Loader CFG from the HomeBrew Channel from HDD (I'm not using an SD) it works fine.
7. Why is there a difference?

Why does the USB Loader start from the HomeBrew Channel 1.1.0.
And why doesn't the USB Loader start with the Forwarder?
I think the problem is that the drive has a physical sector size of 4096 and the forwarder is only supporting 512.
Can this be fixed?

@robjanssen.

Maybe your USB Loader CFG forwarder is having troubles with a big 3TB harddisk.
Older homebrew programs are compiled against a libfat that expects a 512 byte sector size.
Big harddisks sometimes use a 4KB sector size. The older programs can't handle that.

@obcd FIX94 updated the forwarder for USB Loader CFG so it can deal with a 4KB sector size HDD.

But I was wondering if the forwarder in this thread also can be updated so that it supports a 4KB sector HDD.
I'm talking about his forwarder: USBLoader(s)-ahbprot58-SD-USB-v8-IDCL

probably a link to the location of the sources of that forwarder would help.
Besides that, Customizemii can be used to extract the forwarder dol from a channel wad and insert another one in it.

After asking for retroarch wii forwarder, i decided to try and make myself one.
I made a forwarder dol with DOL Forwarder Creator and then a wad with CustomizeMii 3.11 (i used the plain wad ''static'' as a base)
However, i don't have bootmii (new Wii) so i can't test it. Anyone more versed into wii hacking than me and with protection (bootmii, or sneek/uneek etc.), wiiling to check it out please? Forwarder is only 5 blocks
