• December 21, 2010 Update: Updated the following channels to v3 - these forwarders require IOS58 and boot using USB2.0 speeds. They are also able to launch apps with arguments and direct hardware access from and SD card and a FAT32/NTFS Hard Drive (note, if trying to boot an app from an NTFS hard drive but the app doesn't support NTFS results will vary). Thanks to Narolez for the NForwarder code and to FIX94 for helping me compile it.

Note that all my channels have been modified by me in some shape or form
(at very least changing the forwarder or adding a splash screen),
but they were created by combinations of other peoples work.


Installation Instructions for Beginners:

-Copy the filename.wad to SD:\WAD (or USB:\WAD)

-Open your preferred Wad Manager via the homebrew channel

-Make sure you've saved WadManager in the following place
(SD or USB:/apps/WadManager/boot.dol)

-When you start Wad Manager, choose a fakesigned IOS to use to install other IOSs (249 or 36 are common choices).
-Choose to leave Nand Emulation Disabled.
-Choose the SD card or the USB2 device (depending where you saved the wads).

-Browse your device for the wad/channel you want to install, then hit "A" twice to install it.
(Note: YAWMM & MMM support batch installing and uninstalling files)

-If you've installed a forwarder channel, it will launch the application under the paths I've specified. So forwarder channels also require you to download that homebrew application and save it to at least one of the paths specified. For example, the Visual Boy Advance Forwarder Channel requires you download the homebrew application from here, and save it to at least one of the following locations:

SD:/apps/vbagx/boot.dol
SD:/apps_emulators/vbagx/boot.dol
USB:/apps/vbagx/boot.dol
USB:/apps_emulators/vbagx/boot.dol

-If it is not saved in one of the above locations, the forwarder channel will just return to the main system menu.

-If I do not say that a channel is a forwarder channel, it means it is not a forwarder channel and the channel will still work without having an SD card or USB hard drive connected to the Wii (examples: Priiloader Shortcut Channel, BootMii Switch Channel, etc.)

MPlayer_CE v0.76 Forwarding is Fixed!

As seen in the above video, I can launch mplayer_ce v0.76 successfully, and it also exits without stack dumping.
To get this to work properly, download the mplayer.dol (from the MPlayer_CE Fix links below), rename it boot.dol and use it to replace the existing boot.dol in your mplayer_ce (or mplayer) folder(s).

How to Install Wad Files:

[spoiler='How to Install Wad Files]- Before Installing wads always make sure you have brick protection (Bootmii &amp;/ Priiloader)

- Copy the wad file that you download and save it to SD:/WAD (or USB:/WAD)

- Load your preferred wad manager via the homebrew channel

You won't get enough points this way to get a premium account. Do the people a favour and use a real hoster.
You want a premium account, and other who don't have one can't download your files most of the time because "too many users are already downloading". So it doesn't matter if someone makes a mirror because people who can't download won't generate points for you.

thanks wilsoff, i've been using your generic spinning usb channel for the looooongest time (it is by far the best usb loader channel in my opinion), I've inserted the forwarder into the channel itself though and I plan on inserting a new sound.

My cuz Violator is amazing on the guitar (He made the song for the vbagx channel), he's going to be making me some audio tracks for some other channels for me... including fceugx, usb loader, wad manager etc.

So I am waiting for his music before adding more channels... so it may be a couple days before I add more channels to this thread

They're generally available during off-peak hours... ie. if u try downloading while the rest of the world is sleeping, u shouldn't have any problems

Thanks... I haven't tried the wadder version but wouldn't mine seeing the xflak40 version of the channel, if it looks anything like his avatar it should be good.

Ha I love it how you post mirrors that aren't shit right after I put up mirrors. I'll take them down now, but they will be back if rapidshare is the only download. I don't feel comfortable having people on a forums trying to get you some free membership for a hosting site.
