Homebrew WTF I tried to format my micro sd card so I could use it and it gets super hot and won't format?

if it doesn't show up in F even in another card reader and\or computer you can get a refund if you are still on time..

Yeah it's broken, same thing happened to my friend. It'll probably work for a second at most I'd you cool it down.

My 1GB microSD (nothing important on it) did this recently (just plugged it in and it got super mega hot); it was about 7 years old, though, so it lived its life well.

Basically, both your SD and mine are (almost literally based on the heat they kick out) toast. :3
