Dam freakin magazine. First off, I'm f#cking spaming, sueing, and going to bi*ch-slap PC-Gamer. They were a great magazine untill I downloaded one of it's demos in the fu*kin CD they put in it.

Alright, now that I got that out of my system I'll tell the details. Well, this happened when I put in the PC-Gamer CD in my computer and started it up. I went to their demos and picked one (I don't know why I picked the gayest one) it instaled and ran ok but I got boad of it and exited. Then I decided to go and seach for some.................pictures

ya thats it, pictures. When what do you know, firefox crashed! I was like "OK, just have to restart it" BUT NNNNNOOOOOOOO it came up with the same error over and over again. was pissed but nothing compared to what happens next. BITTORENT CRASHED. yes, that's right, crashed. It even gave me a strait up error, "Bittorent has crashed, Unable to generate crash dump" That's when I started to get really pissed. I restarted it but nothing. I got pissed, cursed at the screen, hit my keyboard, you know all the regular gamer stuff. I then uninstalled that game and the CD but the same errors happened. I finally calmed my self down and went to play Farcry. Guess what, FUCKING ERROR AGAIN
mad.gif
This time it was the "Critical Exception" error followed up by the "WARNING! Editor has crached" and some other crap. This time I kicked my chair over, which was a new for me.(no, I don't have anger managment isusses, I'm just grumpy today)

After all that I took out my anti-virus(Avast) and started scanning my hard drive and I'm barly at 28%. Any sudustions to what hapened?

P.S: I'm typing on my laptop.

It's not PC Gamers fault you were watching porn. Lots of porn contains viruses, it probably had nothing to do with PC Gamer.
That was intended as a joke but ok

Seriously, how can you blame something obviously innocent, when at the same time it happened, you were doing something suspicious. That's like the cops going to a bank robbery, seeing the robber with the gun in his hand, and arresting the little old lady there to cash in her pennies.

Reminds me of the EVE update that blew away the boot.ini. That was a good one, not that I'm an EVE player of course.

Anyways, more than likely it's user error. Not to mention it didn't ruin your computer.

Your operating system is screwed is all. Reinstall or even try a system restore if you'd prefer to be lazy. I generally still suggest a full reinstall and skip System Restore entirely but sometimes you just need to use the computer for a little more before wiping it.

I *think* he meant reinstall windows... not the programs.

Do a system restore back to an earlier date. That might fix it all up.
