Uhm I don't see anything about backing up ROMs in that thread. It's all about saves.
So where does the notion that you can backup roms with this come from?

It says the rom was dumped, but the saves are the only thing able to be re-written. It does say roms have been dumped.

well if legacy can allegedly run the games and dumping them can now be done all it will take is some other groups to find out how to run them and sell the secrets to a flashcart company it could mean a flashcart before the end of the year

It can't read and convert the icon to an image for the computer yet so it shows "bad header" but the ROM/saves can be backed up/restored.

First of all you have to log in to see that image. I won't create an account for this. Second are you sure it doesn't just work for NDS roms and gives garbage data for 3DS roms? I can't find any inforation in that tread or in that forum that the device is supposed to be able to backup 3DS roms.

Amazing and gladly heard! I cannot wait for 3DS flashcarts so we can use cheats haha ;] Not that I am a horrible cheater, I really am not. But cheating after already beating a DS game adds hours of replay value. Chinatown Wars for example adds days of replay once you start cheating haha!

It's a rom dumping/save dumping tool made by Neoflash (a company that makes flashcarts and other gaming accessories), used for the DS (and now 3DS).

duh. The software is for the PC, and the SMS2 is USB. I have owned SMS for a long time now and I don't see a reason for anyone to lie about this. I downloaded the program. If they were to lie, then there is as much of a chance of LGC's dumps to be faked. I mean their dump tool was based on a DS Lite. Plus lying about something like a 3DS dump tool would get them negative publicity, both LGC and NeoFlash, I don't see a point. I'm not saying the dumps are proper, but they look proper and it extracts it from 3DS carts.

Not quite there is still no flash cart solution for loading the roms. Heck the dumper cant even display the rom preview yet.

Samurai Warriors Chronicals (Japanese)
One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP (No region mentioned, probably Japanese)

Updated first page with known compatible games. Like I said there are more than likely more compatible games.
